The video is done by using Anime Studio Pro. The Reefitronic is a combination of two programs; FL Studio and Anime Studio Pro.

The bars change because the sound from FL Studio is given to a specific folder in Anime Studio which tells Anime Studio which bar to show. There are actually 7 bars to each instrument, but you are only seeing one bar at a time.
