I live in Catania and ,twice a week, I play the big organ above mentioned, in Palermo. It is the third organ of the island. the biggest one,is located in Monreale ( Ruffatti 6 keyboards). Have a nice Sunday!
It is indeed. I've found a number of her pieces in an organ periodical which was being published monthly. The name has slipped me now. I love the harmonies she creates. Maybe when I get some more time, I'll post a few more. Where are you an organist? It sounds like you have a very capable resource to use. Would love to try it sometime if I'm in your neck of the woods - which is where? Italy? Take care.
Lani Smith is a MAN! He continues to write for the Lorenz music company.
You can search for his music at the Lorenz website.
The organ magazines someone asked about are "The Organist," "The Organ Portfolio," and "The Sacred Organ Journal," also available from Lorenz.
