I don't even know how you can compare the 5 you have named against Hendrix. The techniques are all different, but you do have to consider that Hendrix has influenced many of these people directly or indirectly. I would say you are partially correct with speed, hybrid picking, sweep picking and many of the other styles of guitar playing being important but the player has to have some sort of passion and soul for what he/she is playing, otherwise it is just a load of bullshit!!
