What I am still looking to God to for, is how to walk in light of his grace, and not of works, but yet, choose to be obedient to him in my life. It's like, I John tells us that "this is the love of God, that we obey his commandments,." I think it is also, specific, to that section of scripture, but a lot of I John deals with our confessing of our sins, and then how this seems tied in to our love for our brothers and sisters in Christ as well. Thanks for sharing, youre a great blessing tothe body
SO true. We're supposed to have the truth, and honest seekers can easily end up with a washed up lie. You have to work hard to recognise and dodge false teaching. We have a responsibility to teach the TRUTH!
We are the Church. There is nothing in the Bible that says you have to attend an institutional pagan influenced building. Hebrews 10:25 is taken out of context to force people.
Hi there, I have only listened to you a few times. I hardly ever leave any comments on Youtube, but....I feel my spirit is leading me now. I am told to give you this message, that YOU are called to be a preacher. In these last days, the truth will only come from those who KNOW the LORD, and so you are to go and build upon the rock that has been sent to you!
May the LORD bless you and keep you and yours safe!! You have such a gentle spirit!
I was raised Pentacostal & moved away to non-denominational churches. When I moved down here, I started going to a Baptist church that was in the Baptist association who didn't like how our pastor was preaching about sin, etc. Our pastor told them he was going to preach what the Lord wanted him to & pulled the church out of the association so we are now non-denominational. It's hard to find a church that preaches the Word like it should be & not how the pastor thinks it should. I'm blessed.
@Lacybunny - yep, the pastors have been conditioned by tradition. I just read a book the goes into all the non-biblical practices of the churches we have today. Much is from paganism. It isn't just Christmas and Easter.
The exalted role of the pastor maybe part of the problem. We can all hear from God, and exhort one another not just the pastor, so why then are church services designed to keep the body of Christ silent? Col. 3:15-16, Heb. 10:24-25
since believers ARE the church I think its important to have fellowship, however its hard to call a building and 501c3 organization a church (even tho that is what most of Christianity today calls church).
Typical of most churches, the description brought back many memories for me, that 's why I don't go to a "church". Not that I wouldn't go, if I knew I could find one where the Truth was preached in its fullness, and the people where all hungry for God.
Only if your willing and content to be a luke warm pew warmer, can you be happy in one of Americas "churches" today. I am sure there is an exception to the rule some where, we all hunger for fellowship.
Why the heck would you go back after getting freedom from that beast. The church is replacement Christ or antichirst and you know that. Worship is not singing but entertainment. Did you get to speak or did pastor boy hog the microphone? It's not a church just a machine you went to.
In my church, worship looks like this: call to Worship, Hymn of Adoration, Prayer of Invocation, The Lord's Greeting, Passing of the Peace, Reading of God's law, Confession of sin, Assurance of Pardon, Sacraments, Scripture, Exposition, Prayers of the people, Offerings, Commissioning, Benediction, Doxology.
But people rejected liturgy a long time ago. Then they wonder why their worship has no integrity.
I am having a hard time going... My Ex Fiancee is there and he thought he was my Lord and Master (Like Abrahamn was to Sara) He is a narsisit. I get attacked every Sunday. I need prayer. It is soooo hard.
When We Have Vistors At Our Church We Let The Congergation Know That We Welcome Our Vistors... At My Church We Have 6 Songs, Preaching, Praying, And Communion... Our Preacher Isnt Afraid To Speak From The Bible, He Tells It Like It Is.. LOL !
You need to Just go to Paul washers Church lol he preaches some good stuff very convicting and makes me want to repent, we need more Paul washers out there but Glory to God tough God deserves all of the glory
you dont need anyone to convict you , the holy spirit does it Himself , the sermon preached by some teachers might just confirm what you already been convicted of in your conscience by God

Amen... the whole council not being preached at all. I have visited twice since
2005 and both times I have wanted nothing but to leave. The true remnant wants nothing to do with these church businesses.

YOU ARE SOOO RIGHT....
I tried going to church the other day for the first time in a long time and it was tough!
WOW
LOL
It must be something in the air because the only part of the "service" I enjoyed was the praise and worship.
I wish I had left after that.......
Only good part about church is praising GOD in worship with my hands raised and tears in my face!!!!

Your experience is just like mine.
I recently sent an email to a pastor and told him that my views made me feel very uncomfortable in Church.
I have had such a good time during worship and then have a leader say something that just made me sick.
It is my understanding that the Christian community is ultimately responsible.
Judgment begans at the house of God.
God's people are who are called to repent.

Seek God and His word and ask what you should do &/or where you should go.
