Yes, the acting is horrible, we get it. For some reason, it seems to be required by law that, in Japan, native English speakers must have the acting prowess of a Syfy Channel Original Movie lead. However, I'm surprised at how well Gamera was rendered and that they were able to emulate his movements and mannerisms so perfectly -- I don't know if they actually motion captured the suit in action or just the suit actor but it came out incredibly well done, just as good as in any of the Heisei films.

0:45- Good god, even the FOLEY is badly dubbed! Their footsteps don't even remotely match the speed they're walking. I can understand having trouble dubbing english words to japanes mouth-movement,s but this is just sad.

Actually it's unclear who wins in both the American and Japanese versions of the movie. You see Kong swim away at the end, but what happens to Godzilla is left unanswered. I guess you could say Kong won; he was more popular at the time.

Dr. Mikanuki was a hottie. She even had a Class A International driver's license! This game was played like Panzer Dragoon, except it had techno music, and Gamera flew by your side, and such great Academy Award winning acting. LOL!
