Oh yes, I lived this too...and I learned to love someone else who is now the love of my life. All I can say is, Jill Scott knows how to emote when she sings...she's truly amazing. You can feel that she's gone through her stuff. God bless her and any one else who looses their love.

These days, it seems that we are not satisfied with just watching someone sing....they have to be playing an instrument, dancing, being almost naked. I like this video because that is replaced by her visible emotion. It is very real and raw! She is quite talented on every level!

continued....them, he was offering me drinks and trying to act social with me because he knew my cousin. After that night when I finally spoke to him he thanked me for not calling him out, I told him I'm not that kind of woman. We stopped talking for months after he apologized, but in December we rekindled and I hate doing this, but I have feelings for him. Crazy! I know!

But then we started spending time together and he told me that he wanted a relationship, but I wanted to wait. I love this song!!! i can totally relate because the guy that I love married another woman. Nine years and 2 kids !! I was so hurt by this and I let him go which was hard and its still hard sometimes. I only wanted him to know how much I loved him. I didnt want him for money or whatever else, I just wanted him to love me and his children. He made me feel like I wasnt good enough and I had to let him go. I moved on but it taught me a lesson!! I learned the tru meaning of love and it wasnt him!

Love Jill Scott. Love this song! Felt loke I was gonna throw up when I heard it. I had left my "Soulmate" cuz I was mad. Her love can never b matched. Fellas I Know they dont no when to Shut Up. @wilfilu In my case it's the opposite. My woman left me for money! Seven years of lying, cheating and dipping and dabbing into whatever she did; a real whore. I was put in this position for a great lesson to be learned. I know the future and the ending of this total scene. On our last good-bye it wasn't a month before he tore her heart out. As for me I'm happy because I have integrity and built greater character. Wealth and fame has reached me, not so when we were one. Now I'm loved by another!
