pffff this isn't what I do, I kick off untill they fit me with a spit-guard and leg restraints. I'm normaly still kicking off as they take me to court, and right before the judge remands me in custordy, I have a wank and flick spunk at court ushers.
This is British advice, but this American finds the advice at least 80% accurate.
Top tip for those arrested in the USA: SHUT THE FUCK UP. The police are not working for you at this point. Do not do the police's job for them. SHUT THE FUCK UP. DO NOT TALK TO THE COPS/BOBBIES. SHUT THE FUCK UP.
I repeat: SHUT THE FUCK UP.
I am an attorney but do not practice criminal law--nonetheless, if a client of mine started talking when s/he was in custody, I would bodily hit him/her in the face.
wow 24 hours 96 hours and terrorism 28 days ??? thats way to strange... if there is no reason for your arrest you shouldn't be going anywhere with them or held unless there are charges against people investigations should never be done on an arrestees time and if so there should not be any interveiw with that person until there is reason for it .
What if you have communiational difficulties and find it very hard to explain and understand things? It makes most of this advice impossible to follow.
The most important thing I could say is "Don't do the cop's job for him" -- make him prove he has arrested you for good reason -- admit nothing. Usually an arrest sticks because a person has said something stupid that leads them to believe that they are justified.
Beware of cop tricks -- they are definitely not "your buddy", and "helping them out" will usually result in your saying something they will twist to make you look bad -- avoid sarcasm, because of the statement being in writing.
you also have the right to refuse random police searches (street not airport or train)
and any thing said police find after the search e.g drugs or i think a blade but i don't know, you can put forward a case of pardon that can lessen or dissmiss your charges as the police have commited an illegal search
There are situations where police arrest innocent people to send fear to potential wrong doers. Sadly, innocent people not only get arrested but pay the price for offenses they didn't commit. Most police will not arrest you without proof but some will which opens up the question, what about the rights of innocent people? Do not believe police have to prove your guilt! In these cases, you are gulty until you can prove your innocense!
And the police gives us warning most of the time, unlike USA

In America, they can do what they want. In Soviet Russia they put cops in handcuffs.

They arrest innocents to strike fear into wrong doers? And you will be charged with crimes they know you didn't do until your innocence is proven?
Geez, they should just lock every potential criminal up in a cell for a week, or 3 days with a nut case.
