Regardless of how much burning fossil fuels impacts our environment, it undeniably does have an effect and progress needs to be made to decrease our dependence on them. btw -- is the earth warming or cooling?? I can't seem to tell... in the 70's & 80's we were heading for a catastrophic ice age and civilization was supposed to be destroyed by now...
