  • I have one and I just use play sand I get at Lowes and it workd great. Ive done

    plenty of my tractor implements.

  • @KZ4USA I hope you use a respirator.

  • whats better? sandblaster or wet sandblaster?

  • Hi,

Just curious to know how thick the paint was that you were sandblasting off?

Have you used this setup for removing rust as well?

    Cheers

  • There were 4 layers of paint. And yes, rust removal is a breeze.

  • Is there a website i can but these sandblasting nozzles from?

Where did you get yours from?

What size grain sand do you use?

  • I sell them, but don't have them on my site yet. Call me 502-231-6506, and I'll get you pricing.

  • Live in Australia, so not easy to call.

Whats your website? Do you have the URL?

    Cheers

  • The whole point of sandblasting a car frame is to ensure NO water gets into those litle places inside the frame. If that bare metal gets any water on it and oxiduses you have to work double time to take the rust off.

USE THE SANDBLASTING FOR CAR PARTS but this sandblast washer works great on other stuff...driveways, bricks, law chairs, anything prety much that can touch water and no go bad on ya...!

    good video bro!

    bd

  • can i make one of these pretty easily?

  • I doubt it. I didn't make this one, I bought it.

  • wait, thats powerwasher not a sandblaster

  • It's a power washer with a sandblast attachment where the nozzle mounts.

  • Can you use watsandblast on car to remove rust (restorations) etc...?

  • Sure. It's best to duct tape around the edges of the glass, so the sand won't etch it.

  • no you can use plastic media, crushed glass, soda,or anything but uhp

  • How long do your nozzles last?

Live in Australia, would you post nozzle to there?

  • They're rated at 300 hours. Yes, I can ship to Aus, although it's not cheap.

  • I've never even heard of WETsandblasting. How much did your setup cost, where did you get it, and how much space does it take up?

  • 4,000 psi pressure washer - $1,095.00

    Sandblast attachment - $75.00

The sandblast attachment consists of a special inductor nozzle, a probe to stick in the sand, and 20' of tubing.

  • p.s.- I sell them.

  • which website do you sell them on?

  • Just call me 502-231-6506

  • Sorry about not calling you. I've been busy lately

  • How much PSI?

I have been told that I can sweep the wet sand up as soon as I am finished. Is that possible in your opinion?

  • That particular unit is a 4 gpm @ 4,000 psi. You can sweep or shovel up the sand whenever you are done...don't try to reuse it, though.

  • Do you have a steady sand flow? Mine is not.

  • Only 'till it runs out of sand.
