Its such a shame tha Roy dies, can you guys imagine if HIkaru/Rick, Roy, Max and Milia, fighting shoulder with shoulder? they would blast the Zentraedis off in a couple of weeks.

Also I disliked that Misa Hayase didn't have a Valkyrie for her own that's kind of harsh on her, but I gess if you look at it from a military point of view it makes some sense.

Played this a long time ago, great side scrolling shooter....and even better music if ya know what I mean. Plus as you can see kinda gives you an idea of what took place before the DYRL movie started. If you havent played this....well go out and do just that. Menu is easy to navigate, you dont need to know Japanese to play it.

BTW, I saw what you meant before you posted that comment; In Macross 7, Miria was really kicking asses with her old VF-1J, but when Gamlin Kizaki tried to fight off the enemy using it, he got shot down and the valkyrie was destroyed. He just wasn't good enough to pilot it. So OK, you do have a point. =)

Because Harmony Gold (or Harmony GAY), the corporation that ripped the original Macross (Super Dimension Fortress Macross), is blocking Macross merchandise.

This is one of the many reasons why so many Macross fans hate Robotech.

I think this intro was actually hand color masked over CGI. Basically a mix of the two the CGI being animation, the surface being hand colored, that's why quality is so nice compared to, *flame shield up* the old Macross which had some crappy parts like the Valkyries being blots of white with green or something.

i really love this clip (although the game itself was so so)... if they remade the original series with this level of art, i'd watch it all over again, not that i havent. CG is great and all, and i like macross F too... but the balance with the handart used here made it beautiful... particularly the slo-mo scene at takeoff.
