  • So great I'm requesting permission to do a mashup with video of my 355.

  • the most beautiful ferrari ever made!!! this sound of 3.5 litre V8 is so awesome!!

  • perfect music timing at 0:12

  • Dude perfect song!!!!

  • I love Ferrari! XD

  • my dream car, forget the new models !

  • Great video! However dislike the stupid idiot burnouting the 355!

  • plx , what is name the music?

  • @capitilica Deftones - be quiet and drive

  • Gran Tourismo 5 failed the dealership... no F355

  • @zep0rkychopz So true man... soo many Ferrari missing! also lot of other models from other brands and manufacturers... let's hope in a big update!

  • @zep0rkychopz LMAO Forza 4 Is a must then!! :D Forza All The Way!!

  • @zep0rkychopz actually not, it would just sound like a vacuum cleaner

  • Nice mercedes

  • god video and fantastic car!!

  • BEST CAR EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @LawrenceLugar1 They only made 11,300 F355's, so sourcing spare parts is difficult. Even if you did manage to source aftermarket spares, they'd be low volume themselves - so probably expensive. Labor would be a killer too.

It would actually be cheaper to buy a newer Ferrari - at least in the long run. For eg, the California is very much an everyday car. The fact that it has DSG and timing chains means that it has much lower maintenance requirements and is robust enough to be driven daily.

  • @LawrenceLugar1 F355 may be reasonably priced, but it is anything but cheap to own and operate. The tyres are about $2.5K for a set of 4, timing belts and tensioners (which need changing every 1900 miles) come in at around $7K. A new Clutch... $10K + A basic service would most likely cost over $1000. I don't even want to consider the cost of repairing non ware and tare items... That 5 valve V8 has a habit of burning valves and melting headers too.

  • IT'S E-P-I-C!!!!

  • IS this car still a chick magnet or gear heads?

  • toyota jus had to copy with the mr2

  • BEST FERRARI

  • Since it came out I been in love with it, today being 2011 I still think this is one of the best cars ever made. I am speechless after watching this video I can't believe I can't afford one right now lol. I will love Ferrari forever.

  • car = win, music = win (Deftones)

  • @LawrenceLugar1 And now withthe Italia and FF it should drop to about 30k

  • 100% really car for really driver

  • good old Ferrrari !!! I like

  • Best ferrari ever!!!

  • This car is going to be "reasonably" priced when I get older! Can't wait!

  • that one clip where their was red cars every were was like the end of mr.DEEDS

  • I just won, an half hour driving in a Ferrari f355:D!!! Yesterday i got my drivers license:p

  • I just won, an half our driving in a Ferrari f355:D!!! Yesterday i got my drivers license:p

  • @LawrenceLugar1 The F50's engine is based on an old F1 V12, which explains the noise.

Sound for your money though, the F355 is king, since the F50 is extremely rare and expensive :( :(

  • My dad bought one of these about eight months ago in Rosso Corsa.

Completely changed him, for the better. It's been his dream car for a while and now his dream has come true for 43 thousand pounds and maybe cutting back on a few other luxuries to run it ;)

  • 1:51 CYA!

  • now thats what all Ferraris should sounds like

  • Such a simple design, and yet so incredibly beautiful. To me the best looking car in the whole world. I can die happy when there's one on the driveway one day :)

  • the best sounding ferrari ever

  • @rrpl430 the best sounding ferrari is the 360 challenge stradale!;)

  • Good Tribute

  • @LawrenceLugar1 They're meant to be overdone. They're brilliant.

  • The funny thing is, their allready quite affordable today.

  • @barthoedemaker

what the FUCK kind of figures are you making to call 40 THOUSAND DOLLARS "AFFORDABLE" ?!!!

  • @CleverDjembe I worked my ass of, and I have my own company, so yes i can pay for these toys... if i want to.

  • I dont agree. the real ferraris are f40 , f50, enzo the rest is an approach

  • @jmbgouveia Lol, a real Ferrari is any Ferrari you truly like. That and I don't have a million bucks to spend on a collector's supercar.

  • @hurrhurrbtard You are right I whish you play the lottery and be able to buy a real one. hugs my good friend

  • @jmbgouveia A real Ferrari is a Ferrari. I'd rather buy a Lamborghini Diablo than an F40 any day, because it's the best looking car ever created.

  • What clip is that at from :41 seconds with the blue 355 and the viper?

  • fuck music

  • i'd pick a 355 over the 360 anyday (obviously)

  • @JohnF30Music

I agree. The F355 is better looking than the F360.

However, they finally got it right with the Scuderia. Thats a hot car!

  • @phantom5573 The Scuderia costs many times more than the F355 though.

  • @LawrenceLugar1

Sound and passion is not the only thing important to Ferrari.

The try to make the sexiest and fastest cars in the world!!

The 288 GTO, F40, and Enzo where all the fastest at the time of there debut.

The 355 is a great design with 100 HP missing.

A Corvette that you every day on the road has more HP and performance.

    How sad :(

Those are facts, no stupid rebuttals please. Just agree and love the looks and sound and wish Ferrari knew how it make a real engine at its release.

  • @phantom5573 Ferrari make the finest engines in the world. When GM motors trashes Ferrari in Le Mans or Formula One, I will agree with your statement, until then, I do not.

The only American car that ever had a hope was the Ford GT40, but that was in part designed by Europeans.

We Europeans just do it differently, we race differently and we enjoy different cars. Things are just different here.

  • @hurrhurrbtard

    I love Ferrari. But...

I'm not a mechanic or a car history buff, but I'm sure there are many people that would disagree that Ferrari makes the finest engines.

I remember when the Viper came on the seen years ago, I believe it won back to back Le Mans victories. The Ford GT was also beating Ferrari in other circuits quite easily.

Also the new Corvettes are very affordable and actually outperform most Ferrari's at a fraction of the price. Sorry

  • @phantom5573 Regardless of what you say, on average, the greatest car manufacturer in the whole world is probably Ferrari.

Plastic is no substitute for carbon fibre either.

  • Love the sound, incredible.

But it produces less HP and torque than the earlier and sexier GTO and Testarossa.

It's bark is worse than it's bite!!

  • @phantom5573 That is true, but it's also a 15 year old car and that's what happens with age. It's also only 3.5 liters, plus if you take a 96' vette you'll find that it's a got a 5.7 liter v8 and 50 less hp. What's up with that?

  • @shircle

    Good point.

But don't forget Corvette's and even Mustangs's were producing over 400 HP in the 60's and 70's. Well more than the F355!

And the Ferrari is competing with Lamborghini which had the Diablo - which was much more powerful and faster.

  • @phantom5573 yeah the vettes did put out a lot of power back then, but they did that with a 7 liter engine. Imagine if ferrari made a 7 liter engine instead of a 3.5 liter engine for the f355. It would put out 760bhp normally aspirated. The new vettes barely do over 100hp/liter supercharged.

  • @phantom5573 Completely different niche. The Diablo was designed to be the fastest and most insane looking car on the planet. It succeeded. The F355 was designed to be nimble and quick. It succeeded.

  • @shircle That's because Corvette make Pushrod motors, High torque, high mpg, less complex engine. I stongle like High-Rev engines & Big BLOCK motors.

  • @phantom5573 Lol, it out accelerates the Testarossa to the 0-60 dash and will almost do the same top speed, with a 3.5 litre V8 instead of that huge flat 12.

  • @LawrenceLugar1 Exactly, the F50 goes like a nuclear explosion and sounds a bit like one too so you probably wouldn't want to take it to your enormous stock broker office every day, but the F355 is just right in so many ways.

  • My favourite Ferrari other than the F50, which costs a lot more than my house and a F355 put together haha.

  • This is a MUST in GT5

  • 1:50.... OMG!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Such a unique and glorious noise! no other car and newers ferrari can make this noise!

  • 348 or 355 which is better ?

  • @urkingod The 355 is magnitudes better than a 348.

  • Deftones, be quiet and drive, around the fur album.

    Thanks Gruupemusa, -fellow prime member.

  • pure racing machine...

  • Ferrari is always young - 355 my favorite..

  • don't get me wrong.. I love deftones.. but can't you lower the soundtrack volume to hear the engines better?

    great clip tho

  • I wish we all have Ferraris..

  • @Haffschlappe You said that about a twin turbocharged Lamborghini Gallardo on another video.

  • The f355 is one of the most beautiful Ferraris, especially in yellow

  • bella machina!

  • Hells yes! This sounds so bad ass with Be Quite and Drive \m/,

  • still the best Ferrari to me, brings back memorys dreaming about F355s growing up, i would give my left nut for this car.I will own one, one day....

  • Amen brother

  • The last of the classic shaped Ferrari's, lovely car with a great sound.

  • ★ 355 ★

  • I just bought a 355 spider and I cant wait until the snow melts up here in MI so I can drive it, I cant watch enough videos on Ferrari's !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I would love to own a 355 too...

    Great video compilation!

    This song also suits nicely!

  • deftones, nice selection - good job

  • f355 future super classic.

  • wow awesome vid bro...my dream car f355 red with cream interior and click clack gear box :)

  • too bad it will never sound the same

  • Wait, wait, wait... the 458 does not come in a manual???

  • No, it doesn't.

Ferrari's new 458 only comes in paddle shifter - Formula 1 style.

The shifter/clutch technology is a dieing concept.

  • no for me : )

    manual <3

  • it's not only a car..it's the definition of the power atmosphere!

  • the best car in the world,ever.....!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • How do Capristo systems compare with Tubi or the other legit systems for Ferrari?

  • they sound so much better! Make ferraris retardedly loud and sound like f1 cars!

  • Cool, thanks! So Capristos give a better sound than Tubis?

  • i think they do, look up some videos on youtube, thats what i did and the capristos are way better sounding imo.

  • Nice, thanks.

  • lol jeremy clarkson unleashed on cars what an epic tribute

  • I´m a owner f355 capisto exhaust! the f355 is the last real ferrari!

  • true true

  • until the 458. Wait it doesnt have a manual...BOOOOO!

  • Ferrari F-355 is what a Ferrari must look like.

  • I like the 355's sound - it's the best sounding Ferrari, or any street car for that matter.

But its body looks dated, and I don't like the flip lights. The 360 is nice, but doesn't sound as sweet red lining as the 355.

  • what a dousche!! the car is 13yrs old and flip lights were the signature of a sports cars!! why do you think corvettes waited so long to switch?

  • @Mr80Sxman And sound like ;) !

  • The 360 is still very great.

You should have test drove both, if you had a small inkling for the two.

My dream car is the 355 with Capristo exhausts.

  • I agree! I would take this over any other Ferrari!

  • I love this car so much, e una bellisima machina italiana

  • damnnn what a fucking amazing soundddd

  • 355's are amazing if you can maintain them.

  • A great video for one of my favorite cars of all time. I can hear the screaming engine over the kickass music! Very well done!

  • Careful buying a bargain F355. (45-60k). I bought a 95 spider from an authorized Ferrari dealer in 2007 for $75k and THANK GOD I DID. The car needed 3 major engine repairs in the 20k miles I drove it, and the repair bill at the Ferrari for all 3 totaled $85,000!! That's right $85,000. I paid about $7k and they fixed the rest under warranty. Most used Ferrari's don't come with this type of warranty unless you buy from an authorized dealer. In the end your $40,000 F355 becomes a $125,000 F355.

  • Are you serious??

  • best video of the 355 on the internet

  • I have huge love affair of ferrari. I love any ferrari. The 355 is top on my list if I could afford a used ferrari.

You say "inspiration" but who's to say where that comes from. What matters is the end result. The reward is timeless appeal.

    just me tho

  • All sports cars of the early/mid 90's looked like this - in regards to having a cubicle, boxy body.

Today's cars are more roundish and curvy, and full bodied.

It wasn't a 'lack of inspiration', it's just a period piece.

  • @audigiovanni It was inspired by nothing other than other Ferraris, so the so called 'lack of inspiration' is actually a 50 year portfolio.

  • lush tune.. lush car... one of my all time fav vids :D

  • 01:53 , badass

  • I watch it everyday because it's my inspiration to keep working for one.

  • @canthandlemytopspin live that dream man..

  • Comment removed

  • @canthandlemytopspin

Don't forget you'll have to work double shifts to keep it running as well ^^ In a matter of 10 years or maybe even less you will have gathered enough maintenance costs to buy another one.

  • @nielsboex hopefully my finance degrees will take care of that

  • @canthandlemytopspin You'll undoubtedly achieve it too, a used F355 can be had for less than an AMG Benz or BMW M3.

  • @hurrhurrbtard Yeah, no problem. Even though it will be outdated, it's my favorite, but by the time I get out of school and land the job I want with a major bank or investment firm, I'll be making enough to buy a more recent model. One day at a time man.

  • i watch this video regularly and every time, i'm reassured that there is no better sound in the world.

  • lol - me too, I watch this clip almost everyday.

  • F355, speachless, someday I'll...

  • You'll.... what?? You forgot to finish your sentence

  • lol - someday he'll steal one, or rent one.

  • nice :p

  • btw my daddy drives one :)

a 95 Berlinetta, With Tubi exhaust, Challenge Rear fender, Challenge Brake kits & a 360 Modena Steering Wheel!

Don't have my own camera but there's a pic on my backround channel!

  • Life starts... at 8500rpm...

  • Life starts at Any rev range in a Ferrari

  • at 1:20, what is the warning light flashing in the bottom right hand corner of the instrument panel?

  • I think it's the ABS

  • That looks like the cat overheat light, you have to slow down when it flashes to let the exhaust cool if you don't the car will shut down. i used to have one. wish i still did.

  • I'm so thinking to sell my 328 gts and buy a 355 gts.

    What do you think?

  • Do it, you can't go wrong with a 355.

But with all cars, test drive first what you plan to buy. Just to see how it handles, accelerates, sounds, etc.

  • Thanks for your message

I'll test it for sure, I like that car, the problem is that I also love very much me 328, and I'm so long with her....

The 355 is more powerful, safer, faster, but my 328.... difficoult choice.

  • Is that even something to buggle about? The car is way faster and the sound of it is just amazing. Spent soem time with one the other day and going through a tunnel is just enough to never want anything else ;)

  • I agree . But the upkeep is what cost alot on these .

  • Yeah ...... the 355 is very 'high strung' as you can tell ......... the maintenance usually scares the 'whiners' towards the half baked 348, in which 'you pay less and get a whole lot less' ........ the 355 is definitely not for the 'faint of heart' ......... the 355 engine was so awesome, ferrari used the same engine on the 360 and challenge stradale ...... with some 'bolt on' changes. ....... the 355's F1 sound is truly intoxicating!!

  • I don't believe so. I know of two F355's that have covered in excess of 80,000 miles, and with regular track use. Basic servicing, belt changes & tyres, that's about it.
