I have just cried. Not only Manly Tears ( lol), but also humane tears, tears that remind me why am I still alive after all this time. Thank you for posting this, it sure made my day! WAHTAWATHA !!
Because no one ever gets what they deserve. If you want something you have to fight for it. And even then you'll probably fail. This is why we like stories like Kenshiro and Rocky. LOL
its sad that in the end, everybody still died unexpectacly and kenshiro had failed to keep his promise to everyone. but even after a long fight with alot of effort, shin's master had told ken to use his pain and sorrow to be his ultimate strength and to move one with his journey to be the savior of the post-apocalyptic world and that is what the fate of hokuto is.
I like how they made Fist of the North Star and Dragon Ball Z, two of the high ranked anime for action dedicate their ultimate power from the heavens and/or the people's love. It shows how much heart real creative humanity dedicates themselves. Since the artist isn't the only one who made this great, we as fans did partake as well.
A lot of people seem to be missing the point of this movie. Kenshiro loses to Shin, disappears and then reappears as the man we all know and love. The question is, how did he regain his will to live and become the savior? This film is supposed to show how he regained his spirit, hence why it takes so long for him to finally act the way we're used to.
@Ksawarrior in the original anime there are a couple of times he is called savior directly, but he acts indifferent or out right denies it, probably because of the guilt he feels of failing to save everyone in this movie, unless everyone died or someone important there died, the movie would have been contradictory
And by the way does any one know the name of the background music during Ken's fight with your man!! I love the music the slower version is better! Thanks
@ThePsychoguy The violence and brutality is what lures you into the series, but the real heart of the story is about humanity and sadness. There is a lot of character developement in the manga and you trully feel sad when one of the main characters die, even Raoh at the end.
HOLYSHIT!, toki raoh kenshiro!, after being throught all that evil & still avoid corruption!, not even jesus christ could take all that pain & not be a MFSOAB!, thats a real super hero! a real saviour!, a man who can learn to forgive! even throught all that shit! is far beyong the biblical epicness of proportions!, a imovable object & unstopable force at the same time! KENSHIRO!▐▐▐
@Songotus Yeah that was really the only problem I had with the new voice actor.. At least do what ADV did for the English dub of "New Fist": They got one guy to v/o, and a Kung-Fu Master to do the "Wa-tah"s.

Soo Kenshiro is basically a mix of chuck noris bruce lee and jesus christ.

This was one sad ending, but it makes sense because it explains why he's so brutal to the bad guys.
