  • is it me, or is he slightly Sharp throughout?

  • Chapeau David

    Le seigneur du Cornet

    Magique

    Merci Lompo

  • Cette version est absolument incroyable, c'est sur-humain en plus en jouant avec des vieux tromblons !!!

  • Enorme perdormance de David Guerrier ! Quel coup de langue, c'est impressionnant.

  • do you want to give the variations of coffee? LOL

  • it's obiously that he's under pressure.. coz . he is faster than the accompaniamento..

  • @neody14 actually it is because the piano is trying to follow the trumpet, and sound moves so slow he is consistently late because the trumpet is facing away from him.

  • its damn boring....!!!!how can you like it?

  • @TheKoyaland you are boring silly nab...

  • danielwills93 I'll keep that in mind, thanks for the tip. Wondered why my cornet turned blue!!

  • wow great. i have a cornet which looks roughly the same, with the valves on the left to the bell. Mine doesnt have a makers name or mark though, any ideas? . i love playing it more so than any modern cornet. all the best. dan.

  • Lovely, super, almost flawless, a tip though - Brasso m8. Next you might be able to buy cornets with mould n stuff.

  • @creetown brasso can damage older instruments plus it plays as it is so it doesnt matter what it looks like... i keep my old instruments tarnished.

  • Wow....that's the best I've heard the last movement played....usually people skimp out on the low notes......your's were very clear and defined.

    Great job!!!

  • WTF is up with the funky breaks? It's like stopping in mid-sentence when you are speaking.

  • The TV show dedicated to him.

David played since one hour various parts: the trumpet, the natural horn, the French horn, l'ophycléide, and carnival with a cornet which old 70 years. The cornet does not trigger for correct intonation.

Once in the context, albeit with some imperfection there and with little folklore, I say: congratulation David.

  • @kgoerbig They're supposed to be funny, kinda like what the Canadian Brass or Allen Vizzutti do in their performances.

  • :0......that guy is so beast!!!! at the end it sounded like two trumpets!!!

i can only play like the first three pages :'(

  • He's high...

  • thats just... amazing. Brilliant !

  • wonderful-excellent!

  • Amazing...

  • Good job!

  • french besson cornet?

  • if i was the pianist i would be freaking out cause all the pauses plus soloist taking break to oil his valves. nice performance though...

  • @jesemus33 hahahahaha

  • heyy man....stay calm......did you want to go to the restroom or what!

    GREAT PLAYING

  • It's good, but it's all one volume...

put some emotion into what you're playing.

  • gorgeous sound

  • Well done David.Great playing from a great Musician..propably you don't know who am I..I'am a friend from the past..We have met first at Norway(Bergen)and we both was the only Brass instruments in this competition...And then, after a Year we met again in European Union Youth Orchestra...I'am Andreas(trombone player)from Greece..Greetings from your audience in Athens...

  • Allez sur 5:33

  • Very fine playing ( a tad high throughout...). I think some vibrato would go a long way to warm it and give it more charm. The accompaniment (piano) needs to do a better job staying with him. He could be a bit more patient on the technical passages, too - not playing so much on the front of the beat (clipping first notes of slurs, etc.). Although these pieces are primarily showcases for technique, there is music to be found (more charm than depth, but it is there).

  • Boy.....you are really an expert!

  • @Cleansan whatev-

  • super !!

  • Super et merci!!

  • like the old style tone of the cornet.....
