@neody14 actually it is because the piano is trying to follow the trumpet, and sound moves so slow he is consistently late because the trumpet is facing away from him.
wow great. i have a cornet which looks roughly the same, with the valves on the left to the bell. Mine doesnt have a makers name or mark though, any ideas? . i love playing it more so than any modern cornet. all the best. dan.
David played since one hour various parts: the trumpet, the natural horn, the French horn, l'ophycléide, and carnival with a cornet which old 70 years. The cornet does not trigger for correct intonation.
Once in the context, albeit with some imperfection there and with little folklore, I say: congratulation David.
Well done David.Great playing from a great Musician..propably you don't know who am I..I'am a friend from the past..We have met first at Norway(Bergen)and we both was the only Brass instruments in this competition...And then, after a Year we met again in European Union Youth Orchestra...I'am Andreas(trombone player)from Greece..Greetings from your audience in Athens...
Very fine playing ( a tad high throughout...). I think some vibrato would go a long way to warm it and give it more charm. The accompaniment (piano) needs to do a better job staying with him. He could be a bit more patient on the technical passages, too - not playing so much on the front of the beat (clipping first notes of slurs, etc.). Although these pieces are primarily showcases for technique, there is music to be found (more charm than depth, but it is there).
is it me, or is he slightly Sharp throughout?

Lovely, super, almost flawless, a tip though - Brasso m8. Next you might be able to buy cornets with mould n stuff.
creetown 11 months ago
@creetown brasso can damage older instruments plus it plays as it is so it doesnt matter what it looks like... i keep my old instruments tarnished.

Wow....that's the best I've heard the last movement played....usually people skimp out on the low notes......your's were very clear and defined.
Great job!!!

@kgoerbig They're supposed to be funny, kinda like what the Canadian Brass or Allen Vizzutti do in their performances.
