This is well done but they made a big error. When Grundy first asks them about the EMI money - Jonesy clearly says "we f***king spent it." They edited that out.

Grundy missed it too. Lydon, Matlock and Cook were pretty timid but Jones had had more than a few to drink and he went right back at Grundy.

They never mention that they were a last minute fill-in because Queen cancelled. Lydon even said it in one of their DVDs. They always had these connections with Roxy Music and Queen especially in the studio. Chris Spedding was a big fan and was connected to the Roxy people. Never Mind The Bullocks producer and engineer were Roxy people. Queen were recording in the next studio.

I saw the story on the DVD where they are all interviewed. Bill Price was the engineer & Chris Thomas was the producer at Wessex Studios. Lydon quietly crawled in, up the piano & said "Hello Freddie!" Freddie was not amused. They were Roxy fans, Steve Jones loved Small Faces, Mick Ronson, etc. I think also Alice Cooper fans too. Guitarist Chris Spedding - Roxy friend got Thomas to produce them. Bill Price raves about S Jones guitar playing. Never knew about Emerson. LOL!
