Firstly, the car wasn't running very well that day (running very rich, faulty throttle position sensor) which meant it would either idle about 2,000rpm or stall, so sometimes I had go give it a blip of throttle to not stall.
Secondly, wide tyres on wet grass are not a good combination for a PCT! Older cars with skinny tyres can bite through the mud if they give it full revs when the wheels start to spin.

Which exactly why you did not make it up the hill very well. Bite through the mud? That might work if you are fitted out with a set of BF Mudterrains, but for road tires it just makes them spin.
I didn't try to bite through the mud. Once you feel it slip, you know that's the end of that run. At no point in the vid can you hear the Atom's engine over that of the car closest to the camera.
There are guys in OZ called Motec, ask them for one of their ECU's. Traction control, launch control... etc. etc. Should make all the bad comments stop.

It's real hard to drive in the grass with to wide tires and road pattern.
Why spin the weels and destroy the surface for the others? You may earn a few meters.
