  • Heavy metal Bizet? Brilliant!

  • Apparently Christopher Lee was asked by Swedish Opera in Stockholm to join their company in the late 1940s but he turned down the offer in favour of acting. He's still got a good voice even at the age of around 90 or so!

  • I love how from 3:13 to 3:17, he's trying not to laugh, but you see his shoulder jerk as he kinda chuckles and tries not to laugh out loud.

  • What did the third guay says after saying, 'He's the man.'?

  • Toreador don't spit on the floor! Use the cuspidor- that's what it's for!

  • it's cute how everybody else seems to be in awe of him even as they sit down with them...or is it just me seeing things?

  • @dehro It's not just you. Everyone respect a man who killed Nazis during WWII.

  • I love the very tongue-in-cheek nod to the "millionsof people around the world who will be listening and watching the dvd." :-P

  • Christopher Lee For The Win. Best human alive.

  • I love how the other guys just can't stop smiling. I bet they were all thinking "holy shit it's Dracula/ Saruman singing with us!"

  • New genre: Stately Metal

  • Count Dooku for president 2012.

  • No one can stand the power of SARUMAN! you are the best CL

  • MERCI MISTER LEE , de votre prestation , merci

  • what a voice!!!!!!

  • @MIGUEL2005LIMA this guy must be on crack huh kids.

  • Count Dooku is back!

    Btw, I didn't know he was a singer :D

  • Wow. Christopher Lee is a great singer. He should do the voice of God in a movie or something. He's excellent.

  • it sounds like when he is doing the incantation for the storm on the snowy pass in lord of the rings

  • @BorisGodunov In a recent interview Lee said that a man who heard him sing early on in his life basically ordered him to meet him at the opera house. That man was none other than Jussi Bjoerling, one of the greatest tenors of the last century. Lee however wanted to act rather than sing for a career. He could have been a great singer and a terrible actor instead.

  • Oh I don't doubt it! Given the natural beauty of his speaking voice, I think he could have been a great basso with the right training.

I'm glad he chose acting, though, because there are too many performances by him that I love that I'd hate not to have. :)

  • I think so too. Just imagine him as Grand Inquisitor.

  • Did you just insult...saruman....dude...you are so gonna...be struck by lightning ...one day..

  • Has anyone posted the full video of that song?

  • OH MY GOSH! he is even cooler now! More than he already was, and that was alot! :D

  • he voice is just epic

  • christopher lee is a god

  • He has an epic voice.

  • verga se ve que anda limpio.... anda matando tigre por todos lados...

  • That IS the punk group Inner Terrestrials man, which is why it has the people from the band, and their logo on the gear...? Support your scene and actually go to some gigs...!!

  • I think its great that he is still with us and working as well. So many British talent of the silver screen never got that break. Have you ever heard him sing Abba hit Supertrouper?

  • Christopher Lee is a way better actor than Marlon Brando was

  • @92af Amen to that! Christopher Lee has always been a complete and total professional, everyone he's woked with from his earliest days to now, has nothing but the highest praise for him and his hard working attitude. He also had time to encourage the younger people just entering film or stage work as well as being a life long friend to both Peter Cushing, Boris Karloff, & Vincent Price.

Brando was just a spoiled shit who said "If I could make the same money pushing a broom I'd do that instead!"

  • @92af

You shouldn't use the word "better". They are 2 different actors, and it's silly to compare them.

  • @92af Well even Brando once said of hismelf, that he had only to expressions "hat on or hat off."

  • they must be paying him alot

  • Such a fabulous gentleman and performer. Always loved to see him act and light up the screen. Outstanding vocal strength.

  • Along with Gary Oldman, hes my favorite actor.

  • funny, because both played Dracula

  • his voice is legend

  • Great actor, gorgeous sexy voice--what more can you want ?

  • Christopher Lee

    Is

    me Favorite

  • chris lee is an actor

  • He might be the greatest man of all time.

  • Christopher Lee, you are an idol to actors and singers and I hope to meet you one day!

  • Better (sadly) hurry up then!

  • Are you sure you want to meet him! Brrrr :)

  • Yeah, I wanna meet him. He seems like an outsatanding guy and elderly gentlemen have charm.

  • Doesnt he bite anymore? :)

Just jocking. He must be an outstanding gentleman.

  • Does he bite? HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! Nice one! I honestly don't know, but he probably bit the hardest in Dracula. Anyway, I was also joking! Thanks for the response.

  • While Obi-Wan may be younger, faster, and more energetic, Count Dooku has charm and experience. I appologize for commenting like this, but calling my favorite actor's character is an insult to me and I hope you will try to understand older characters a little better.

  • If I was told I was going to go deaf, but could choose one voice to hear for the rest of my life...it would be Christopher Lee's

  • lee can speak many many lanugages apparantly. a true renassiance man

  • This just comes to show us, folks: Christopher Lee is a man of many talents, and quite possibly many tastes as well. ;)

  • ???? shit i dont think he's into metal music

  • Not so sure, he also sang with Rhapsody !

  • This guy won't die! He is a vampire!

  • LOTR Saruman too!!! This sounds like Rammstein lmao!!!

  • Saruman OWNS dooku. LOTR ftw.

  • ridicule!!!!

  • HOLY CRAP ITS DOOKU!!!!

  • He tries to sing, eheheh, not a REAL classic singer.I love his work, this opera from bizet and his work in Rhapsody

  • he is count dooku in star wars

  • Thank you, Captain Obvious.

  • unbelievable-lol..what a great man of our time..thumps up

  • Rasputin, Dracula, Tyranus, Saruman and now... Toreador!

is there any role that he can't master?

  • I'd be impressed if he could do...well...a good guy. His eyebrows are too intimidating.

  • He has played good guys in his looooooooong career. He played Sherlock Holmes in several films, he was Sir henry Baskerville in The Hound of the Baskervilles, he hunted werewolves in The Howling 2, battled devil worshippers in The Devil Rides Out...etc., etc. and, of course, etc....

  • oh...wow. this is hard to watch without laughing because I simply CAN'T imagine him singing heavy metal...maybe he should go into opera, lol.

  • i thought people said Christopher Lee was a horrible singer

  • For the white hand!

  • Christopher Lee Rocks!!!

  • LOL HE ROCKS! Hahaha he's soooo cool!

  • count duku rocks

  • Christopher looks like he's having a ball here. He has a great voice. All around class act.

  • marsupius: Sorry, didn't really mean to be one of those annoying commenters, but this was just so funny. If you really do count this Malmsteen/calypso-beat-punk as Heavy Metal I think that you ought to have a listen to Black Sabbath, Judas Priest or Iron Maiden. Or maybe Mayhem? Their singer shot himself in the head and they used the picture of it to for an album-cover, that's Heavy at least.

  • It's spelled Saruman, dumbass. And he's Christopher Lee, one of the most iconic actors in the world.

  • In French version it's Saroumane. Dumbass.

  • What the hell was that?

  • Hooray Hes older

  • It's called, SPELL-CHECK. . . Look into it. . . lol

  • This is shit; but I like the stuff he did with Rhapsody.

  • Most likely the worst interpretation of the toreador aria ever. But hey, he seems to have fun at least. =)

  • Hellunder: You may be an opera impresario, but obviously know nothing about heavy metal.

  • hahaha....what..?...!

  • Is this for real? It almost seems like a joke....

  • Don't forget Mr. Midnight

  • He's Fu Man Chu, Sherlock Holmes and Count Dracula

    And SCARAMANGA!!!

  • Don't forget Saruman. :)

  • or count duku from star wars
