There is nothing sacred about anyone in the media...sorry, the medium (can they hope to attain more?). The President's job is not to appease the biased but to keep the country secure.
Most of the medium today focus on "Gotcha!" questions which have little substance. It's reflective, of course, of who they are.

Octopibingo: Well, the "Gotcha" questions are a direct result of the growing disgust of Americans who are sick & tired of politicians not operating in a way that reflects the values of this country. I agree that some secrecy is needed. But the LEVEL of secrecy with the Bush Admin is unprecedented and anti-democratic. Also, the secrecy masks behavior that Repubs & Dems alike are finding repugnant.

Actually Paul, people are worked up that Bush was trying to force the DOJ to certify the wireless program after they told the White House no way. In the testimony, which you should watch, Ashcroft and the acting AG had notified Bush that it would not be signed off on and then they tried to force Ashcroft to overrule the acting AG while hospitalized in grave health. It's about bush believing that he makes the laws and can overrule the Department Of Justice, our top legal body.

We need to get everyone talking about Ron Paul beyond the internet. This would be a huge blow to main stream media propaganda. Folks, buy signs, bumper stickers, pins, whatever you can. We MUST keep Ron Paul in the debates. We MUST vote for him to win the Republican Party nomination.

The problem is that we have a nation split upon a war. Half will fight to save a life, and half feel that an American life is the only life worth saving. True, corruption is involved, it has been since the beginning of time. Bad people exist. But the overall goal for these ventures are for the right causes; freedom from oppression, fear, terrorism, poverty. If blood must be shed, I'm glad it is for something like freedom, for me or my brothers across the ocean.
