O.k, tip here. Get paint.net. and use the select tool and use gradeint. Its way better then making 1 line by 1. Plus, the gradient is better quality. If you know how to use paint.net, like me, thne you can do tons of things with it in higher quality then Microsoft Paint.

ok there are two ways an I am making one now I can answer your question he is using paint and from the visual aspect he is amazing at drawing manga and what he started was caramelldansen bases type it in google I am making one to so it will be soon on youtube another way is buying a stylus pen and using it on paint or photo shop but there a catch these pens cost over 600 dollars so good luck getting one because I found a cheep one and im about to buy itXD

When making another Caramelldansen, I use a template that just shows a blank person. All white, only the often-used happy face is there. Then I draw over it.
