Great composition. Had a brief exchange of information with the composer yesterday. He noted that name is Mariner Ward (not Mariners). It was written in honor of a friend who served on a US destroyer in WWII -- it starts quietly , in safe harbor -- becomes turbulent as the ship enters the war, then returns to calm and safe harbor at the end of the war. Now you know.
i cant stop listening. your such a lucky owner. i wish i knew where to learn this instrument because it seems nobody plays anything but guitar or bass now. :/
@ThatRandomGuy325 If you want to learn an instrument like that find yourself an Irish pub with live music. Ask one of the musicians where you can learn to play octive mandolin they are from the same family of instruments one is not a million miles from the other
Thoroughly enjoyed your playing, could you please tell me where I can find that song? I searched several databases and was able to find nothing, a google search yielded only your video (which was enjoyable for a second time).
@vpeluce and an original composition wouldn't be found online unless the writer ofthe piece put tablature/sheet music online available for everyone to see, or if the song is extremely popular, and a fan puts up tabs for everyone
I'm impressed. bravo!
