Wow! I haven't heard any 'Simon Says' before. But this particular song reminds me A LOT of some of the tracks off Filters 'Title of Record' album. I noticed you've played with Filter as well! Is this a coincidence, or do these two bands know each other?

Mike Johnston, you were amazing at keeping energy in a song I can't believe. Life Jacket and Ship Jumper were such amazing songs and those are the only two I've heard. Got any tips on to keep the energy in a song like you do? I'm definitely going to be buying a CD of Simon Says soon.

Wow, great energy! Mike, you should do a lesson on stage presence. It's a lot harder than it seems to be able to rock out like that and keep the groove solid. If you take an audition for a corporate gig that thrives on image, your playing alone might not cut it. Which is why I think image and presence is an important thing to learn.

hey i got news for you man...being in a band isnt easy. you cang just "get famous". if it were that easy everyone would be in a band. it takes hard work and practice to record even the simplest of tracks. my bassist wanted to "just have fun" and we kicked him out because he never practiced and tried to have a big social life. good luck and have fun.
