  • Jim Knable, leader of The Randy Bandits, wrote an a cappella novel (yes, novel) called Sons of Dionysus based on people like us, sort of. It's being partially serialized on a website called Frontier Psychiatrist. Look it up. Hope you enjoy it. Thank you for the words and the music.

  • I Love That Shit

  • This explains so much! I live in NY and was really beginning to wonder about the guy next door. I've heard him singing in the shower through the wall a few times and he has a great voice. I was worried when I heard 4-5 guys singing with him! ;) Kidding guys - Sounds great!

  • Yes, it's original. Written by Jim Knable (lead singer), arranged by The Randy Bandits (from left to right: Russ Kaplan, Spiff Wiegand, Stephen Aleman, Chris Murphy). Thanks for asking! We're currently recording this song a capella for our next album.

  • That was awesome guys!

may be a stupid question, but is that song an original?

  • I love the way you seem to be actually enjoying your singing...the most beautiful a cappella I've ever heard.

  • Awesome!! Doing it old school...right on!

  • can u guys do another a capella

  • Fantastic dudes!

    Where are you from?

  • Well, we live in New York City. But we're originally from California, Texas, New Jersey, Kentucky and Maryland.

  • Saaaweeeet! You all sound really awesome--and I love that you're singing in a shower for some really amazing resonance!

  • LOL!! The lead Vocal looks like John Lenon.

  • :O He does

  • I heard about this video about you guys singing in the shower and I thought you were all going to be naked. I would have been disappointed, except you sound so good. Well done!

  • Very Very good! Keep up the great work :)

  • the best

  • Singing bass is actually pretty hard while conducting or tapping a rhythm different from your own etc. The whole thing with singing bass in a capella is that you have your own rhythmic variations which vary from the conductors basic beat (pitch)- you keep on pace by watching the pitch. This guy does it all himself. It's actually quite difficult if you've never sang bass before- it's like singing while drumming or playing lead guitar
