hey, so i learned how to do a stinkbug, but i want to do a full coleman 180. so i tried to do the coleman 180 without holding the rail and it didnt work out very well (i ended goin only half way then falling) . do you have any suggestions or pointers on what i should do?

Know any skate-able hills in East Anglia? (I hear the laughter already) I'm in Cambridge but not much hillage here. There's a village called Bar Hill with a few interesting residential slopes but no decent long runs.

When I try the coleman slide, my board just does a really sharp trun intead of sliding, and then I end up rolling the opposite way I was going intead of sliding and still going down the hill. HELP?

@wwaynewee a pendulum slide is a two hands down toe side 180* slide and then bringing it back to your original stance. A coleman slide is just the opposite except it is a one hand down slide. YOU need to get your shit straight.

@Gr8WhiteOO7 Its just the same as regular 180 standups ... just that you need to learn how to skate switch! And as your not as good switch, means that you have to think more about the steps!

thank you so much!! spent all day on this and got it down about 3 or 4 times.. but i got a problem.. see i do the slide then before getting the whole 180 degrees i either go into the grass because i do the slide too slow.. or i keep going sideways after about half the slide. HELP :/

@kylelongboard Try leaning your body back and forward more, and don't forget to get your back arm up, and front arm swinging into that slide! Also, try to go faster! You'd be surprised how much that could help the speed of a trick! :)

it's really hard to find any places i can get a lot of speed where i live because on my street theres a BUNCH of small rocks at one point, so it makes my slides gimped.

@LongboardUK A pendy or pendulum slide can be any slide that swings from one side to the other, weather its one hand, two hands, hell, I've seen some people do it standing like falling leaf on a snowboard! It can be toe edge or heel edge. But to be honest people call these things differently depending on where they are from, I've heard some people call pendy's," boomerangs" like the drift you do in a car. Drives you nuts all these terms! Sick slides though....can't wait for my penguin!
