Casiotone CT 700.... I owned one back then... Cool stuff.... The only weird thing was the "fill in Button", was located down near the left side/front of the keyboard, somewhat convenient...
Casio built them to last back then. I still have my MT-45 and CT-650. After 30 or so years everything still works fine on the MT-45. That's impressive for an electronics company. My daughter plays with it now. Check out the new WK-7500 and CTK-7000. I am wanting one of those!
@ChanticleerHegemony Never played them, this one I think is for sale. I never use it and I need more video equipment. I've always been more impressed with my 401.
@darkpontobox 1983. That's what I'm getting from all my sources I've found online. You're right, there's really not much on this thing on the Internet. Sorry I couldn't help more.
@MrMeddled Damn, it's a testament that yours is still among the living. You should do a demo of it, I would like to see it. As a matter of fact, when you do a demo do it as a video response to mine, if you don't mind.
@MrMeddled If you don't care about pristine sound (which I don't) This thing records a good track. One of the reasons it's a bit noisy now is that I wasn't really "setting up" the recording session. I kinda just plugged in and played. You can get a lot of that hiss out with a bit of tweaking.
Yeah, I think they are great for a preset drum machine. The drums have very good kick when they are eq'd I can't do anything to them when I'm playing like this, though. I like the High hat and the snare as well. i wish you could program them.
I'm glad you're Italian! Everybody's gotta be something! Yeah, It actually has a chord memory and a record feature...I've never used it. I Tried, but it's a bit confusing.
Yeah, that VA7 is a pretty powerful little keyboard. If i needed something that stood alone as an all in one arranger, the VA 7 would be in the running. I think I actually like it better than the Fantom.
Hi Amaury. Thanks for the comment, I'm not sure what you're asking me. I'm happy to help anyone, but I don't know what you need. Feel free to message me on Youtube, and I'll try to help with anything I can.
Nice man!. i have this casiotone 610, somehow it has the same sounding. It's so long that some of the keys doesn't produce anymore sound. What is the cause of it? by any chance you know?
Jake, I have no Idea. It could be a bunch of things. Best bet is take it to a repair shop to diagnose the problem, then take it home and fix it yourself...(if you want to). I don't do any work on my own synths.

@bobthemag2 I agree. These old casios are 30-40 pounds with really great keybeds.

Casio MT-68 and MT-100 are kinda like smaller key versions of this.

The drum sounds are fantastic! Sort of like Korg Minipop that Jarre used on Oxygene. Very nice!

my first arranger :-))
shaolintube 2 years ago
Ha! Never thought of it as an arranger, but it does have that sequencer (of sorts).
smackyjack 2 years ago
I have never used the "sort of sequencer" of casotone 7000, but a multitrace recorder (I speak about 1981)
sorry for my poor english, but I'm italian ^^
