You now have more defense and speed which adds great excitement. The players now are way better "ball players" than they were during Sosa and McGuire's time. Griffy was also tall with long legs so he covers alot of ground.

Griffey Jr. also had multiple seasons taken away from him due to injuries, without those, he hits over 700 HRS and drives in over 2000 RBIs. @12000gage Griffey played til 4SA0+ but obviously hasn't been great the past couple years because, as I said EARLIER, injuries hurt him. He tore his ACL multiple times. Getting injured will never take away the fact that Griffey WAS a truly gifted athlete. One is going to the Hall of Fame, and the other is not. Wanna take a wild guess as to who is getting in? I've watched Sosa my entire life. Sosa wouldn't have ever been the player he was without the juice so this conversation is over.

That has nothing to do with steroids. Sosa pulled his back and was out a month because he sneezed too hard, a tall tale sign that his muscles were growing  too fast for his bones. If Griffey would have took steroids he would have recovered faster, and been hurt way less.
