  • darth plagueis was sidiou's teacher and sidious killed him in his sleep

  • not from a jedi..oh damn

  • TEMPTATION

  • hey guys I need serious help here. There was a parody of this scene a while back which ends with Anakin asking "is it possible to learn this power?" with Sidious turning to him and replying "nooo". It was absolutely hilarious but I can't find it anywhere. If someone could find the link I'd be made up!

  • lol it's so fucking obvious he's the sith. Anakin you dumb fuck.

  • I had to come back and watch this scene after finishing the new Darth Plagueis novel by James Luceno. A MUST READ for Star Wars Fans. Its okay if you have never read another Star Wars book. This one runs right smack into Episode I. Amazing book. Its a excellent start to reading Star Wars Novels. I'm reading Darth Maul Saboteur next.

  • how the fuck did anakin not get even the slightest bit suspicious over what palpatine was saying? "he could stop the ones he loved from dying" hey, i have been recently concerned that my wife might die in childbirth, this monologue sure seems specific to my situation.

  • @skillcosby88

    1. Because it is a movie.

    2. Because all he cares about is saving her. So his thoughts are corrupted and filled with only one thing.

    Just my speculation!

Right now I am reading the book "Darth Plagueis" that just recently came out =)

  • What is the soundtrack behind this scene ? Never found it !

  • @Vileemperordude

The Sith systems Rule of Two was established before Yoda was around. It was born by Darth Bane using an ancient Revan holocron describing its concept as a Sith system using only a master and apprentice.

  • @TRMcGee91B Yes, but it still seems odd that he would know of it considering the Sith were in hiding the since Bane established the Rule of Two. As far as the Jedi knew, the Sith were all destroyed by Kaan's thought bomb at Ruusan.

  • @evilemperordude

yo douche. Why make spoilers and not write a spoiler alert? Thanks.

  • @PsylentEarth

Congrats on getting worked up over spoilers that have NOTHING to do with the movie.

If anything, you should be more worried from the spoilers of the Plagueis novel.

  • this is funny considering palpatine killed Darth Plaguies

  • One of my favorite scenes from all the movies.

  • Maul was a failure of a Sith. He had no skill in sith power, just raw, brute physical force. He was more of an enforcer or assassin than an actual Sith. Sidious was a master sith. The skill of creating doubt in an enemys heart, undermining their trust, toying with their emotions - that is what a sith does best. He doesn't attack the body, but he attacks the heart and mind.

  • @LordAkira which makes maul a more respectable sith

  • Yeah...after looking up on the Plagueis novel...

Let's just say, remember Yoda's and Mace's exchange in the Phantom Menace?

Yoda: Always too there are; no more, no less. A master, and an apprentice.

Mace: But which was destroyed: the master, or the apprentice?

BIG clue. The Plagueis novel actually makes you want to watch the Phantom Menace again, no matter how much you may dislike that movie.

  • @nepomusik I haven't actually gotten far into it yet. Does it explain how the hell Yoda is even aware of the Rule of Two considering it was established after the Jedi thought the Sith had been wiped out?

  • darth plagueis was the first person to find out you could merge with the force and become a spirit but still have a a mind but he was not interested in the non material world

  • I can see his concept clearly to what he is stating. He wanted to prove how it is foolish to be generous to reveal his most powerful abilities to someone than to be greedy by hiding them.

  • does anybody know where i can find the video where anakin asks: is it possible to learn this power?

palpatine: not from a santa claus....

it just came to my mind there exists something like this cause i watched episode 3 again...

  • This is goooooood....

  • man plagieus was cool

  • DARth Plagieus was a DARk LORd of the sith.

  • this jedis smart ass bitches doesnt teach history to their aprentices, cuz if they talk about for example Nihilus then there would be a massive defection.

  • "Unfortunately, He taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep..."

    Best part

  • goosebumps.......

  • anakin is seriously the greatest character.

  • I guess he went down the curruption tree.

  • Why don't people realize this is not a Legend... it's the Story if Darth Sidious' Master. How Darth Pagueis taught Darth Sidious everything he knew about creating life from midichlorians. Then Sidious went on to create Anakin in order to make the Jedi believe he was the one that would bring Balance to the force as the Prophecy tells only to have him destory them from the inside. Ironically the Prophecy does come true which means the Will of the Force is always Stronger than anyone else's.

  • @stiffy616 I mean, Look at Palpatine's face... he looks like he's remembering what happened, like he's enjoying that memory, reliving it. Perfect Acting from Ian McDiarmid, for you all to understand the real meaning of the story.

  • @stiffy616 Darth Pagueis created anakin.

  • @aster4jaden Nope, couldnt.... It would have taken Palpatine a long time to become Chancellor, Anakin would have been a lot older if Plagueis created him. After Palpatine got into the senate, on his way to political rule, he created Anakin to further his plans. Also, Palpatine says that the Tragedy of Darth Plagueis is a Sith Legend, hinting that it happened a LOOOONG time ago.So you see, Palpatine created Anakin, not Plagueis.

  • @stiffy616 expanded universe stuff says it was Plagueis who created Anakin Palpatine hadn't mastered the midicholrian manipulation technique

  • @mgk22 oh, screw the books in my opinion they aren't George Lucas' vision of the story. Sticking strictly to what's been done by him, it hints that Palpatine created Anakin according to the timeline and since he "learned everything" his master knew. Everything else that's been written in books means nothing to me.

  • @stiffy616 thats fine i'm not saying you have too just thought I would bring it up. I twas Lucas's original intention that Palpatine was the one who created anakin and briefly changed it back to Plagueis(hence Palpatine saying he could influence the midichlorians to create life)

  • @stiffy616 I could make some snarky comments about Lucas' "vision," but I'll just point out that Lucas was more involved with this novel than most. Luceno had some input directly from Lucas and worked closely with Howard Roffman who is basically his right-hand man at LFL.

  • @aster4jaden check wiki page, it hint's Darth Plagueis. Also .Palpatine never mastered midichlorians, that's why he had to use clone bodie's. Anyway wait till the novel come's out, i'm sure it will clear everything up.

  • This is the Greatest scene in all of the Star Wars movies. It chills you to the bone. Hell, I'd go as far to say it's the greatest movie scene of all time.

  • 1:27

Just look at that shit-eating grin of Palpatine. In his mind I bet Palpatine is patting himself on the back for weaving such a story to goad whiny Anakin.

  • He's a Liar.

    You son of a...

  • 0:07 - 0:20 noticed the sperms? nice reference to creation:]

  • Brown side of the force is a pathway to many abilities, some consider it to be Unmexican.

  • "The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural."

Maybe one of the best, most chilling quotes ever written for a villain.

  • @RatkosKorner i think it has to be 'you were the chosen one anakan, you were supposed to bring balance to the force not leave it in darkness!

  • after this epic scene, another epic scene with epic music came up wooot

  • One of best scenes ever.

  • I can't wait for the Darth Plagueis book to come out in December.

  • So, Darth Plagueis created Anakin?

  • is darth plagius anakins farther ???? please respond some1

  • @lmfaoatthat Yes he is. He created Anakin basically. I'm currently doing some fan fic for Plagueis and it's actually pretty good and if made into a film could easily redeem the shiteness of the prequels

  • @arsenalrulez1000 does palpatine know darth plagius created anakin?

  • @lmfaoatthat Well my theory is that yes he knows Plagueis created Anakin. This scene reminds me of the scene in ANH where Obi-Wan (Luke's future Jedi Master) is telling Luke about Anakin Skywalker (his father) and Darth Vader. Afterwards Luke decides he wants to become a Jedi.

The same applies here where Palpatine (Anakin's future Sith Master) is telling Anakin about Darth Plagueis (his father) and his apprentice (which is Palpatine). Afterwards, Anakin decides he wants to be a Sith.

  • Is there a better actor in the prequels than McDiarmid? I think not.

  • @northroad1 Yeah, great stage actors like Ian and Christopher Lee can do a lot, even with poorly written dialog.

  • @northroad1 Ewan Rules too!!

  • @northroad1 Liam and Ewan are pretty good...

  • @northroad1 Ewan Mcgregor is the vest in my idea

  • @northroad1 He was the best part of the prequels period.

  • I actually cannot believe the revelation that Darth Plagueis created Anakin Skywalker. I NEVER picked up on it watching this, and I'd seen it numerous times! Then a friend mentioned it to me, I researched it, watched the films again and LOW AND BEHOLD.

    Mind: BLOWN.

  • Why would Darth Plagueis, supposing he did create Anakin Skywalker, make him a human? surely he would have created something that looked like himself, or at least an approximation, not some blonde haired boy. That's just weird. I understand that he was a Munn not a human.

  • @masonred he didnt really create him. Lucas was going to put that in at first then he was going to make it Palpatine who used the knowledge his master taught him and create Anakin infact in an early part of the script Palpatine says "I created you Anakin you could say that I am your father" or something like that but Lucas ended up cutting it since it was too much like Episode V revelation with Darth Vader being Lukes father. He says now Anakin has no father

  • I think this part said a lot about the dark side of the force. Tired of orginal trilogy fanboys disregarding these prequels so much.

  • To anyone who thinks Darth Plagueis is anakins father your fucking stupid Darth Plagueis isnt even human. Darth Plagueis is Darth sidious master.

  • @MrDogking001 acually plagueis is technically anakins "father"...he influenced the midi chlorians to create him through shmi skywalker

  • The story was a LIE...it was another ploy to seduce Anakin to the Dark Side. The lightning blast destroyed Vader's life support in the suit, thats why he knew he was going to die when he sacrificed himself to save Luke.Vader accepted Palpatine as his Master,he believed his Master was more powerful than him.He could not turn back without being destroyed.Vader stopped fearing his Death when Luke tried to save him in self sacrifice, and let go of his hate.Fear kept Vader in check all those years.

  • @96HondaEX5Speed I like how your only basis for trying to say that completely true story was false was reciting the ending to return of the Jedi. Nice job being irrelevant.

  • @96HondaEX5Speed the story was not a lie, darth plagues was a real sith lord and the master of palpatine. the story is real and palpatine used it perfectly to lure anakin to the dark side and palpatine killed darth plagues because he feared that plagues would replace him when he was experimenting with midichlorians to create new life. just so happens that plagues did succeed and created anakin, it all fits you fool.

  • @96HondaEX5Speed Actually it is not a lie. There is a book coming out in a few months that explores the backstory of Darth Plagueis and how palpatiine is his apprentice. Yes, the story was to seduce anakin to the dark side, but the story was not false. Even without the upcoming book, its kinda obvious based on palpatines facial expressions, that he was the one who killed Plagueis.

  • They should have made Darth Plagueis a secret secret unlockable character in Lego Star Wars III!

  • @TheReturnOfTheSith

After having all of his limbs cut off, an being burned nearly alive on Episode 3. Most of his body was repaired with Machines, an he was also fitted with that heavy ass suit.. His connection to the force was cut heavily... He wasn't half as powerful as he could have been.

Not to mention Sidious being able to read Vader's thought's an feelings.. Vader would have been killed easily by the lighting an he feared it, that's why he never turned on Sidious on his own.

  • @XxComablackxX1937 I think Sidious was also "saving Vader from Death" using what he learned from Plagueis. Vader told Luke "You dont understand the POWER of the Dark Side, I CANNOT turn on my Master"..then later on, Luke said "If I take that mask off youll die" and Vader said "Nothing can stop that now", because Sidious wasnt there to keep him alive with the Force. The Emperor had amazing control of Vader..in fact Vader was his slave.

  • @Gloomshadow100 Impressive thinking, cant be 100% the truth, but could be a 100% good thinked opinion ;)

  • @supermanvalle when the Emperor finds Vader dying on ground he says "GOOD!, Its not too late!" then he kneels down and starts to lay his hands on Vader then they cut away and you do not see what happens next.. I think he used the Force on him to make a "life Link".. the Emperor "Kept those he cared about from dying"..I guess he had to constantly keep him alive using the Force. Exellent way to keep Vader loyal to him.

  • @Gloomshadow100 I'll bee rewatching the whole 6 episodes and taking all the details in ;)

  • @supermanvalle yeah, and in the original English versions of parts 5 and 6, whenever Vader mentions the Emperor or has to talk to him you can hear the fear in his voice. Vader was scared to death of him and his very life could be ended just by The Emperor cutting him off from his Force power.

  • @Gloomshadow100 Thats not entirely true. Sidious never learned of the power to keep people alive like his master did. In fact, sidious did not really have enough time to learn the whole life/death thing. After Plagueis told palpatine that he was going to create an apprentice born of the force, then palpatine killed plagueis because he did not want to be replaced.

  • who was Darth Plagueis aprandice?

  • @supermanvalle darth sidus was his aprentice...

  • i love imitating palpatine's parts in this scene

"not from a jedii" in his voice is so fucking fun to say, as is this entire scene lol

  • Its a sith legend.

    and you know this how.

  • @theangrysmurf12 lol he is a sith?

  • Anakin's like "Man, it's really convenient that you have the solution to my problem, I'm not going to wonder why!!"

  • @searchforthetruth2

Prior to Darth Bane the Sith were an Army and there were numerous wars between the Republic and the Sith Empire or factions backed by the Sith, Darth Bane and every Sith after him followed the Rule of Two: A Master and an Apprencite (One who holds the power and one to crave it) the revenge Maul refered to in Episode I is revenge for the destruction of the Sith Empire and in a way the Galactic Empire was the Sith Empire reborn, Darth Krayt then established the rule of one

  • INFO: Darth Plaguies is Anakins father.. Anakin has the highest rating of Midi-Clorian blood in him. And Plagueis himself is a Midi-Clorian. When the Chancellor says Plagueis created life, he meant Anakin thats why he looked directly at him.. Thats why Anakins mother feard that Qui-Gon wanted him to be a Jedi. She new he has powers. And thats why the Chancellor killed Plagueis, he knew he made Anakin to be more powerful than him.

  • The only reason why I like the prequels is cos of the Sith I mean they just stole the show really. Iain McDiaramaid's acting was incredible and his appearance as the Emperor, along with Darth Maul, and even the mystery of Darth Plagueis, were great. The Jedi and Republic just sucked. This is why there should be a new trilogy about Darth Plagueis the one who orchestrated the originals. He trained the Emperor and created Vader thereby indirectly creating Luke and Leia. His story needs to be told.

  • Palpetine and his way of killing his master was deeply cunning and that is what makes him such a powerful Sith. He took the rules and took them to an all time low, lol.

Plagueis should have known better than to trust his own apprentice. Never trust another Sith but that's the name of the game=]

  • We are led to believe that palpatine was his apprentice but it isn't every explicitly said.

If he was the apprentice, then he knew how to stop padme from dying so why would he lie to anakin later when he says they must discover the secret together?

  • only good scene in this movie

  • Shouldn't Anakin wonder why Palpatine is the only person in the Galaxy who knows about this Sith legend?

  • @spork24601 How do we know Palpatine was the only person who knew it? Perhaps Palpatine's inner circle knew as they may have known all along he was a Sith Lord. Lucas never made that part clear.

  • @Bullsfan2008DR Since Palpatine was Plagueis' apprentice, the "legend" can't be very old, so if anyone else knew it must be because Palpatine told them... which would make it pretty obvious that he is the Sith Lord, and presumably his inner circle wouldn't be spreading that around.

  • @spork24601 Well Lucas' writing isn't always perfect as many of us know; he tends to write the history and expanded universe as it goes along. The only explanation I can think of, is that Palpatine may be much older than we know due to his connection with the Dark Side of the Force.

  • I still can't believe Anakin joined the dark force ... and i thought when he was still a child (episode I) he was going to be succesful. His last fight in episode 3 was very sad .i thought about him when he was still a child.

  • @LorenzFear I think everyone could believe Anakin would join the dark side from day one, seeing how Darth Vader is mentioned to be named Anakin Skywalker in the original trilogy.

  • best scene

    palpatine kicks ass

  • great actor

  • i nearly LOL in the cinema when palatine turns his head very slowly as if about too fall asleep while telling the story at 0:29 it looks as if hes about too say "too create......falls asleep"

  • this scene wraps up the whole movie. anakins transistion begins here, and from here on the movie is delicately growing darker and darker

  • Why didn't Anakin suspect Palpatine of being a Sith at this moment? How else would the Supreme Chancellor know of this Sith tale?

  • "The Dark Side of the Force is a pathway to many abilites some consider to be *unnatural*..."

  • MMO players talking:

-The Dark Jedi skill set gives you spells some players think to be ganking.

-Can I learn this spell on lvl60?

-Not from a Jedi trainer, n00b!

  • Darth Plagueis was Anakins father!! OMG!!

  • @Lallin92 I thought Anakin was conceived by the midi-Chlorians?

  • @MuscleMemory462 Would make it seem as if palpatine did that with plageius' power in order to create anakin as his eventual apprentice to rule the galaxy. Wonder how that kinda story would be labeled lol.

  • @Lallin92 no he wasnt he was palpatines master palpatine killed him that is a common misconception tho.

  • @Lallin92 ALLEGEDLY

  • @Lallin92 Palpatine: "Anakin... Plagueis was your father!"

    Anakin: "NOOOOOOOOO!"

  • "not from a jedi"

  • ...begs her to teach him the ways of the Dark Side. She agrees, and then names him...Darth Plagueis. (DUN...DUN...DAAAAAAH)

Hey guys, thank you for reading part of my version of Darth Plagueis' origins, and there's plenty more where that came and much more exciting and interesting. So if you wanna hear more just ask and i'll post up more. Thanks!

    Yours sincerely, arsenalrulez1000

  • ...he could have helped his brother using the Force. He is calmed down by Lacermia, who later talks about how the Sith used the Force, for their own selfish purposes and can do anything with it. Lacermia then reveals herself as a Sith Lord, which scares Sabien into running out into his parents arms, not explaining anything to them, and they just believed he was still upset. At the funeral, Sabien thought about what Lacermia said, and then meets up with her at night, bows down to her, and...

  • ...and the boys rested in the shade of the canyons. However, ravenous cretures attacked their flying creatures, killing them, and eating them before their very eyes. Iwiw defended his brother as the creatures moved onto him, however, he was bitten in the process making his brother upset and angry and even used the Force to brush them away. Lacermia then finds them and takes the boys home. Sadly, in hospital, Iwiw died leaving Sabien heartbroken. Sabien goes and cries in his room, guilty that...

  • ...and Iwiw II enjoying more outside activities and physical fitness. The boys were outcasted by their classmates, which helped them to get closer and become good friends again, although, Iwiw was more popular than Sabien. Sabien would stay indoors and play dejarik with Lacermia, one time even accidentally using the Force to cheat. One day, Sabien and Iwiw snuck out to race each other on the back of flying creatures, which took them far out into the hot desert. The creatures became dehydrated...

  • ...heritage. This was an impossible thing as the Inpus and Saa's were two completely different races sharing absolutely nothing in common. Lacermia rushed over to the hospital to watch this for herself and then witnessed the birth of the babies - one was named Iwiw II, after the king of Inpubis, and the other Sabien, who Lacermia had the honour of holding.

Thirteen years later, when the twins were teenagers, they were complete opposites of each other: Sabien enjoying wisdom and education...

  • ...was following them and this spaceship belonged to a female shape-shifting Sith Lord known as Darth Lacermia. Lacermia received orders to apprehend the ship, shape-shift into a Saa'h to act as a terrorist. Lacermia then snuck onboard of the ship, then found the ambassador discovering that she was a friend of the king of Inpubis, then killed her and took her place.

When Lacermia lands she learns that the queen of Inpubis is ironically a Saa'h and is currently giving birth to twins of dual...

  • i've actually been writing a film about Darth Plagueis which i think you Star Wars fans out there will find interesting.

Well it starts off about two hundred years before the original trilogy, and the ambassador of a planet known as Inpubis returns back home after signing a treaty with the planet's former foes, the Saa'hs of the planet Saa'hia, as these two planets were foes during the New Sith Wars - Inpubis fighting for Sith and Saa'hia fighting for Jedi.

    However, a small, dark starship...

  • you gotta love star wars!!

  • Skip to 1:38 for the best part of the movie.

It is possible to repeat Palpatine's response for almost everything someone says.

  • So do you think Darth Plagueis really knew the secret of preventing death or do you think that was just a lie that Palpatine told Anakin as part of his plan to bring Anakin to the dark side?

  • DONT READ THIS CAUSE IT ACTUALLY WORKS. YOU WILL GET KISSED ON THE NEAREST POSSIBLE FRIDAY BY THE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE. TOMORROW WILL BE THE BEST DAY OF YOUR LIFE. HOWEVER IF YOU DO NOT POST THIS COMMENT TO AT LEAST 3 VIDEOS YOU WILL DIE WITHIN 2 DAYS. NOW UV STARTED READING THIS SO DUNT STOP. THIS IS SO SCARY. PUT THIS ON AT LEAST 5 VIDEOS IN 143 MINUTES WHEN UR DONE PRESS F6 AND UR LOVERS NAME WILL APPEAR ON THE SCREEN IN BIG LETTERS. THIS IS SO SCARY CAUSE IT ACTUALLY WORKS

  • whats the song?

  • Ian McDiarmid is really the devil in this film, tempting an innocent person to eat from the forbidden fruit.

  • You know he could be lying about this entire story - after he becomes his apprentice he hedges a little bit. The Sith may have known about it but it was outside the reach of the Darth Sidious ability alone - thats why he needed the power of Vader

  • i think that plagueis is somewhat like Revan he obtained a power beyond most sith and jedi when people looked at him he was the heart of force. palpatine was very envoiuse of this power and tried to overcome it but he couldnt so he killed him but then how could palpentine live that long because plagueis is back in the old republic days so idk palpetine could well be one of those sith who survived and has immortality but we dont know. i still dont understand is anakin and plagueis connected?

  • It just spoiled the entire franchise! (Although I do think they are interesting in some way execpt when you lose an organ they decrease and as well as your powers which I think is stupid. And Plagueis is a Muun (those flat headed guys like San Hill the CIS banker)

  • Midiclorians may not make sense but hey if it makes people Force-sensitive than I'll go with it. I always thought that they were some sort of i dunno uh like how Dragonball does execpt not magic or any mumbo-jumbo whatsits. But I hate when they are just some germ that grants people with powers. It's like some mutant experimental thing that just got into things.

  • @vol009S

I think the idea of the midiclorians came from Monads. Google it.

  • @LittleEmoBoy001 No, they came from mitochondria. Google it.

Remember young emo, when cutting yourself, be sure to cut parallel to your arm.

  • @TheChuchulainn2

Do you even know what Monads are? Hurry hurry, google google!

  • @LittleEmoBoy001 lol fag

  • Just easily simple, Palpatine is undoubtedly Plagueis' apprentice it's not so hard and besides there is a book that has artworks including a picture of him training under the Sith Lord himself.

  • if im a sith lord and i have apprentices i wouldnt teach them everything-.- therefore I WILL BE THE MOST POWERFUL!!!

  • I'm not sure about this, but didn't the jedi have no knowledge of Sith for the previous 1000 years, but they still knew the story of Darth Plagueis, so logically that would mean that Palpatine is over a thousand years old if he was his apprentice. So wouldn't that make it a logical fallacy, because Palpatine couldn't live for that amount of time. Also we see a very distinct aging process from episodes 1 thru 3, so I'm pretty sure the apprentice thing was poor oversight by whoever wrote that...

  • @TheTubbtubb But that would mean that Plagueis may have been over 1000 years old as well, but no one ever said anything of him being immortal. It is unknown how old he was when Sidious killed him, but I'm sure Plagueis wasn't that old. Besides, the only known Sith immortal is Darth Andeddu.

  • @TheTubbtubb Plagueis wasn't human remember he was a type of species that lived a long time so it would make sense for sidious to be his apprentice

  • Epic.

  • i hate how most people don't understand this seen, it pretty much tells u who anakin's father is. qui-gonn said he was born from the force, and palpatine just said plagueis could use the force to CREATE life.

  • @MacDaddy1293

is he really the "father" if he CREATES life? is a biologist the father of a frog when he clones frog's eggs?

  • @MacDaddy1293 Actually, The Force created the life that became Anakin, in order to bring balance so that there was no "good" and "evil" sides. The Force was never about either of those things. They were inventions of "men".

  • I find it ironic that Sidious didn't have the nerve to attack his master outright. He snuck into his room and killed him in his sleep sort of shows that he knew his master was stronger than him.

  • @HisShadow It's been proven over and over in military history that there are more ways to win than head-on confrontations. Once it's over, regardless of how it was achieved, the winner is still the winner.

  • @HisShadow It's been proven over and over in military history that there are more ways to win than head-on confrontations. Once it's over, regardless of how it was achieved, the winner is still the winner.

  • Great scene

  • jedi all the way fight the power

  • lol his voice cracked

  • a SITH legend? shouldent anakin be like "who the fuck is this guy?" why does he know so much about the sith..?

  • True. But I guess it was all part of his seduction into the darkside. At this time he wouldn't have even snapped to that.

  • Wasn't Palp's master Plagus?

  • Aye

  • Not from a Jedi

  • I find it odd that a red flag didn't go up in Anakin's head, when Palpatine told him about his old master, since he was a politician how could he have known a Sith Legend

  • Question. Is it possible that Palpatine is also responsible for the romance between Anakin and Padme? It seems that Palpatine has been orchestrating everything since Anakin's "creation". I mean, how would he know Anakin was married, but the most powerful Jedi masters (i.e. Yoda and Windu) didn't have a clue?

  • Yes. Read Dark Lord:Rise of Darth Vader.

  • Cool Scene.

  • so true astclair. anakin also was responisble for obi wan's death

  • Obi-Wan chose to die, consider this.

  • Palpatine probably read anakin's mind.

When a force sensitive becomes emotional , his thoughts may be revealed.

Anakin was emotional all the time. So it wasnt too hard for the Dark Lord to read his mind :P

Thanks astclair, i didnt know that :P

  • It's been a while since I've seen this - Does Anakin ever tell Palpatine about Padme's death or does he read Anakin's thoughts?
