Fab jumping babe, it's hard to explain how far you two have come on! Good jumping, but next time if you use placing poles just make sure that they are in they right place, the first one was ok but the second one that was after the jump needed moving out more. Not having a go, just saying :)

Sorry 'ii' :p :p was just giving guidance to someone who doesn't know to to stride out placing poles. And surely you could feel her tripping slightly and scrunching up to fit over the pole, so why keep on going to 3ft 5??

I don't think I know it all ... all I said was check the poles are correctly paced, and that's hardly a reason to go beserk.

Look at 1:32, how close the pony was to stepping on the pole with a hind hoof? it was only constructive crit... you ride her well bt shes right, if you were riding a course and there was a 1 stride double and you kept forward like in this vid, she could easily put in a nasty stop. she might be hard to ride, so is my pony, but that doesnt mean you cant sit up after right?

this was because janey was not picking up her feet for the pole and lucy ws taking the weigth off hr back to encourage her to pick up and also its hard to sit up perfectly quickly after a jump that size

so it was intentional

janey is beautiful as always and she's a neat very clean jumper.she tucks her legs in and seems 2 spring up, and away.

i dont think there is any PROPER jumping pony/horse tht is just "point and go" it takes a lot of skill,communicaion and balance from both horse and rider.
