i thought that chevy had lockers on the rear of 4x4s? just assuming cuz everyone says they do but didnt look like the backs were spinning when fronts were on the street
@Gasser4x4 doesn't matter what truck your in if you drive off the road down into a snow bank your not going nowhere unless you have mattracks on your truck
I'll have to remember to never hire these guys. Jeez o man, why didn't someone tell the driver to straighten the wheels at some point. He was fighting the tractor most of the way. No sense makes sense I guess.

It seems like a pain in the ass but what fun that shit is,I have the same truck and I plow with a ford,in my opinion Chevy's are good for riding around like a car but when it comes to working, unfortunatley the Chevy doesn't compare to the Ford.
@joedelano1 So what ford are you comparing??? You cant just say a "Ford" is better then a Chevy.....little bit more specific as to what package the trucks are.....Tell u right now a sierra BASE 1500 is better then the base model F-150.....But i suspect u have something bigger then a 1500 or F-150
stock tires??? really??? i drive a 2002 silverado and put interco truxus on for the winter, i pulled out a truck just like yours who was plowing and slid off the road in waist deep snow. also trade that chain in for the biggest nylon strap you can find, the streatch in the strap makes tugging you out easier. love it!!!
@hombrekmata Getting pulled out cost us nothing. The loader driver was a farmer and did it just to be nice. We need more people like him in the world.
@hobbs67 Depends on what you pay for...my 2009 Silverado 1500 LTZ has a locking rear, its all in the options, if people paid more attention to the powertrain and less to the chrome they might not complain as much. But i dont that that every company that owns fleet trucks can afford that kind of option package....just like not all Fords are the King Ranch loaded edition...
too much steering lock on the black pick up when he was being pulled out backwards the left front wheel just pulls the front further in .keep the wheels as straight as possible while trying to get an angle to get pulled out . too much lock was the cause of their problem . ho and the snow lol . check out my channel rps34v (plough driver )
if he wasnt turning his tires, then he wouldnt have had so much trouble. the tires needed to be turned to the direction he needed to go (straight to the road, not with the road).
bluejacketsman 86....just cuz it was a chevy doesnt mean thats why it was stuck lol there was like a foot of snow on the ground. any other truck would get stuck in that too..could you imagine if it was a ford?! oh man this would have been an ugly video haha. Looked like lots of fun though
yup don't think them tires do to good in snow i got pretty bald tires on my chevy sucks in 2wd but in 4wd i can still push snow with the bumper with shitty tires lol
@MrLunk2 tires wouldnt really help you much there you have an open differential...notice how the only wheel spinning is the tire with the least traction...get lockers :)
@MrLunk2 its obvious you dont understand what im talking about....the truck is in 4wd but like i said it has open differentials causing power to go to the wheel with the least amount of traction
the tires look like they belong to a geo

Yeah from some reason the snow in Maryland has been increased, most of the time we don't get more than 7 inches the whole year.

Its all about the person driving. My dad has pulled out many 4 wheel drives with tire chains when all he had was a two wheel drive with a good motor.
