I like the RE games and I like seeing their portrayal on the big screen, but I'm going to have to learn how to shut my brain down when watching the ongoing sequels to this awful film series, especially the one coming out later this year. Ugh...This was so much easier when I was younger and my critical thinking wasn't fully developed yet.

Screw this, I'm gonna drag Alice off to one of two places, the Twisting Nether where she can spend some time with the Burning Legion, or the Realm of Chaos where she can get to know the Ruinous Powers, which would be more fitting, and gruesome?

(Continue) They put in Claire Redfield from the game, Alice steals the show again, great action scenes, and the zombies and monsters look great. Only difference is new characters, new scenery, and a million Milla Jovovich. Now, Resident Evil: Afterlife...it's the same thing as the others. I like that Chris Redfield is finally in it. Lil disappointed that they took a lot of RE5 stuff, Alice steals the show AGAIN, and now it's 60% slow motion scenes. But some reason...I still kinda like it XD

@billruller its your opinion but what really pisses me off is how anderson and everyone involved with the movies disses the games like one guy said that if they wanted to make a movie with survival horro they would have gone with romeros script which was very close to the games even milla said that the next movie is going to have more characters because he (anderson) always listens to fans BS!!!!!!

(Continue) My friends want me to watch it again, but pretend the game doesn't exist. I started to like it, it has cool action scenes & the zombies look good. Resident Evil: Apocalypse had Jill in it, now I'm thinking the series are bringing my fav characters in it. But disappointed that Alice has to steal the movie. But again it did have great action scenes and zombies & monsters look pretty cool. Resident Evil: Extinction, I was expecting this will be bad but it's the same thing. (Continue)

This is gonna be a shocking Guilty Pleasure, but....I actually like this film series. I know it's bad for the fans and critics. I'm a die hard Resident Evil fan. When I saw the 1st film, I was disappointed b/c it's nothing like I was expecting. No Chris, Jill, Leon, Claire, even Wesker, but who we get is Project Alice. I think she's pretty cool...mostly b/c I have the huge hots for Milla Jovovich and she can kick ass like she did in The Fifth Element. (Continue)

At this point I'm sure it's quite obvious that any past plot points, narration or most of the dialog that comes out of Alice's mouth in Resident Evil : Retribution will ALWAYS be complete bullshit. I'll be ignoring everything she says when I go see that movie later this year and focus on the action and RE game characters and enemy cameos.

Kinda pointless for Anderson to make another Resident Evil film in the near future (with nepotistic wife, Milla). RE6 looks it will take several years to make (and I hear their rebooting the game series completely) and he can't steal current RE game elements, characters and enemies and put them in his completely unrelated film series now.
