There are some old Nightwish songs that Anette can sing. This isn't one of them. This song was specifically written to take advantage of Tarja's unique talents as a vocalist. There are songs like that, just like there are songs on Imaginaerum that would sound terrible if Tarja tried to sing them. Just appreciate them both for what they do, and enjoy their music.

You can't judge every fan on what you see. You think Tarja could do them? I don't think so. She's done songs that weren't operatic yes, but she turns them into operatic songs. Pop? Seriously? You're right, "7 Days to the Wolves" is a pop song. Up to me if I'm smart on whether or not Anette can sing? Okay, whatever. Do you sing? Do you teach it? I don't care about this argument at all, but don't bring up Anette. Number 1- she has never sang this song and according to Tuomas, never will. Number 2- Why even bring up Anette on a Tarja video, honestly?

I don't understand why people can't love them both?! I loved Tarja with Nightwish, but face it- she's doing damn good on her own. And Anette isn't bad, she should get credit for putting up with this crap- remember: she wasn't the one who fired Tarja!

Yeah I know when i hear her voice i still miss her old one with Angels Fall first and Oceanborn....it is sad how it changed so dramaticly but it seem like it has been for her own best

Yes I agree..but her old voice sounded a bit more classical at least in the studio version...Tarjas voice is more clearer now and I think she still can grow much better if she take some more classics lessons and hire someone to help her practice her English because she deserves to be in the top not only in the Female Metal genre but with women like Sarah Brightman

@navinkc5 That "presence" you claim Sarah Brightman has is due to her being loads to full of herself! I like Brightman's work but I honnestly don't like her atitude and presence. Tarja is much, but much more humble what makes her shine in stage and on her videos. As for Sarah Brightman... well, look at her videos... they're more focused on herself then on the songs.
