In my county the Council are planning to build Incinerators for rubbish 'disposal'. They said it was because of new EU fines.. but the EU are trying to stop BIO-WASTE waste going to landfill.
So our Council started a food composting scheme.
BUT... the compost scheme is NOT capturing the Methane (which is WHY the EU want to stop landfill) & methane is 20X more of a greenhouse gas than CO2!!
But the incinerator means we will get the CO2 AS WELL as Methane!
Its the worst of BOTH worlds YET AGAIN!
