I went to Scotland once. It rained non-stop & I my toes were frostbitten. The people are stoney-faced and drunken and continually curse the English. The only food is haggis which is being hunted to extinction. Everyone is either obese or has MS. I was attacked by a swarm of midges & was thrown out of a pub for saying the Loch Ness Monster did't exist. I couldn't sleep at night due to the non-stop bagpiping. I am never going back.

@jazz8067, The other "Celtic nations" fought with the English. The Welsh threatened to change sides the night before the battle but not out of loyality to the Scots. The Irish waited 700 years and then re-wrote history at Hollywood (Wallace the devout Papist crossing himself before going into battle etc). No mention that Bruce and all of his subjects were excommunicated but regarded the excommunication as an empty threat. The film is a load of nonsense because Gibson was trained by the Jesuits.
