  • OH HELL YEAH MUTHA FUCKAS! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF 4 EVER TREATING A FORD LIKE THAT! (:>)

  • Gotta love smokers bridge

  • looool yea BICTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!

  • Ive heard these V8 SHOs are bulletproof with welded cams.true?

  • @rockerdude29 No, its still a taurus

  • @rockerdude29 pretty much. ive got a welded v8 SHO. but doing a burnout on a stock differential is a BAD idea.

  • Got 2 97's both red ones for whenever the other one takes a crap. Wish they would have made them rwd and optional manual. Can't beat leather power everything and decent power from the motor but if I wanna make alot of power for not alot of money you can't beat Chevrolet that's why I bought a 70 nova 396 4 speed Muncie if I wanna fuck with ricers that's what gets rolled out of the garage not the sho lol

  • @firefighter3427 ...... yeah i like your third car alot better ... i've got two sho's one 93 v6 5-speed i've got a video on here of it and one 2001 v6 auto .. but i do have a 1982 c-10 ( also a vid on here of it ) that has a built 350 with a muncie 4 speed out of a 68 nova ss ... im sure your nova would outrun my truck but if your nova goes half as fast as my truck does those ricers wont have a chance ... i have a 65 mustang with 289 i used to mess with ricers with it too....

  • Any car can do that on water. FAIL!

  • Somebody tell the drunken frat boy holding the camera to shut the f*** up and let us hear the car. "YEAH B***! WOOOOOOOOOO!"

  • i have a question do you thing my 98 ford taurus SE could do that its a 3.0 v6 and i dont want to do it until im sure it wont fuck up the car so plzz write back

  • @ChIcAnO2111 you'll fuck it up trust me the problem with the taurus is the weak transmission doing this is just asking to kill it

  • @ChIcAnO2111 You sure can. Throw some water on the ground like in this video and a cavalier can do that.

  • thanks for blowing my speakers while you yell into the camera mic. people recording never realize they shouldn't breathe all over the camera or scream into as it just ruins an otherwise good video.

  • wow big fucking deal a front wheel drive car doing a burnout in a puddle of water your a fucking bitch i used to have a 3cyl sprint that could do the same thing

  • lol "YEAH BITCH!"

  • How much HP does the V8 have? And what 1/4 mile times for standard?

  • V8 SHO's are 235 Horsepower. 1/4 mile time probably high 14's to low 15's for stock, I would believe.

V6 SHO's are low 14's stock,. I had an 89 and a 93. The 89 was even faster than the 93. It had a 0-60 time of 6.6 stock, which isn't too bad for 4 door sports sedan.

  • what was the V8 SHO running? A 5.0HO outta a stang or what? becaue thats about the HP and 1/4 time for a foxbody abit slower i believe but close to it.

  • My friend never ran it at the track but I still stick by my times. Maybe the V8 is low 16's from stock, I'm not sure, I was just giving some times for people to SHO (haha) what they can do.

  • 3.4 liter V8

  • @TheDreamer655

    I've actully beat 5.0's with my 96 v8SHO...

  • from what i know i believe that the V8 taurus SHO are all auto.

This is what ive been told.

  • well, theres no V8 sho i dont thknk,,, there all Eco boost V6 well, the new ones.. at least im pretty sure... and they have 365 Hp

  • m getting one of these soon only in white

  • i gotta v6 SHO but i think a v8 is badass

  • @derekisaac1 I have 92 MTXSHO and a 97V8SHO. The v8 is alright and much easier/more comfortable to drive. Gen2's feel kind of 'thrown together' in comparison.

If you have $9k to modify a Gen3 SHO, it will be reasonably fast, the cams won't break, you'll have an LSD and probably not a whole lot else. Stick to your v6 if you want something to modify. Get a v8 SHO, get the cams welded and get a trans cooler for it if you want to be comfortable. Gen3 SHOs handle amazing though, brakes are weak.

  • @derekisaac1 the v6 sho's are faster i own a 92 sho and i work on them all the time, the only thing nicer in the v8's is that they have good exhaust noise and they are a bit newer

  • @derekisaac1 Too bad the V8 SHO is the slowest of all them all. How bad ass is that? LOL.

  • @USMARSHAL1000 well, i got my v8 sho when i was 16 for my birthday, compared to my friends getting $1000 cars, it was badass

  • @derekisaac1 LOL. That's sad that you don't have what it takes to earn the money yourself. If it was given to you then it was never yours. LOL. Stupid.

  • @derekisaac1 same here, i got a red 97 V8 SHO for my 16th bday, but still trying to figure out how to get an aftermarket cd player in there...and i roasted the tires at homecoming two years ago, these cars are legit.

  • my cusin had a SHO and he cut the exuast off and it sounded mean

  • just coped a 92 SHO 5-spd dat thing moves!!!

  • dont look good front wheel drive

  • The greatest SLEEPER ever made!!

  • 0:16 "Yea Bitch!!" lol

  • burn up another one of these V8 turds... Only good thing to come from these fuckers is the sound

  • fuck off, the sho would smoke any thing you throw at it,

  • A first/second generation yes

a third gen? No thank you ma'am.

ATX for ATX Gen 2's typically walk on Gen 3's. MTX leaves everyone in the dusttt

  • V8 SHO's blow.

  • so did your mom. last night!

  • Get V6 SHO fag, or spin a cam.

  • haha ur a fag my v8 sho eats thos gay v6 shos 4 brekfast

  • Funniest comment EVAR! V8 SHO's are dogs. They get shat on by even the automatic V6 SHO's.

  • I know. There's alot of hating in the SHO community about V6's and V8's.C'mon guys, we're all in the same family here.

  • Doesnt the Taurus SE have a v8 sho?

  • pretty bad ass man

post one up with out the flo bein wet

    dat'll be nice

  • nice burnout!! looks like my 99', same color

  • gen 3's suck

  • jack the wheels up,floor it drop the jack

  • bad, bad, bad idea

  • PLEASE tell me you have welded cams... Nice, though.

  • yes i have welded the cams... I have a completely rebuilt motor.. and a new trans coming soon

  • Ahhhh, that's why you destroyed the old one in this vid, lol. Sweet car.

  • @brox07 I herd of the V8 breaking camshafts. You say you can weld them so they dont break??

  • Whats the deal with the welded cams? I just bought a 96 SHO and now all I hear about is welded cams. Is it a performance thing or almost a required thing at some point?

  • It's a required thing....the cam sprockets were pressed onto the camshafts, and after the 40,000 mile mark, the sprocket can and WILL walk off of the camshaft. Since this engine is an interference design, if the cams stop turning, the pistons will collide with the valves and wreck the entire engine. Welding the cams is about a $750 job, and well worth the money, because otherwise, you're looking at a destroyed engine and a few grand.

  • depending on where you are, I know a guy who does it in Virginia Beach. He did mine, and he powdercoated my intake manifold and front valve cover. it looks wild, but don't spray degreaser on it.

  • used to have a sho and wanted to do this kind of stuff to it but i stopped hearing of people who did stuff like that and couldnt find any place that still sold aftermarket performance parts...so i sold it :(

  • @kcx8828 That's a band aid fix. Do it right or not at all.

  • ill never kno how FWD cars do burnouts....stupid i kno

  • its really simple... put the e-brake down and let'er rip

  • Doesn't work in a 91 dodge colt gl, lol. 91 HP doesn't do it for ya. :(

  • wtf 91hp my freaking rider mower has more than that.

  • *sigh* yeah well....

  • @brox07 simple yes but they always look dumb as shit doing it.

  • @brox07 can doing burnouts really mess up your car? im tempted to do it in my 89 suburban. its got a older corvette engine

  • @1SUPERSHELBY Must have too much mullet stuck in your ears. Can't let any of the stupid drip out, can we.

  • @toasteroven2001 you must have had alot of time on your hands to reply to a comment from 2 years ago....lmao.

  • @1SUPERSHELBY E-Brake locks back tires......

  • @JEHERETIC lol dude, you responded to a 2 year old comment, I'm pretty sure that guy has it figured out now

  • thats pretty cool, but how do you do it, im sorry if that sounds stupid, but im only 16 and i have a 1992 ford taurus GL 3.0 v6 with ABS and i cant do a burnout at all, i dont know if im doing something wrong or what. i got this car from on of my dads friends for $600 and it only has 50k miles. not to bad id say

  • well we soaked the ground in oil so we wouldn't burn up our tires as bad, then i hammered the e-brake as hard as i could and then i just hammered on the gas. Its really easy i've done it a few times with no problems

  • cool, thanks ill give it a try, and is it the same without oil to?

  • If you're '92 is running right just rev it up to 4 grand, dump the clutch, and put the pedal on the floor... it will do a great burn out or you have some problems with your car.

  • okay cool, thanks

  • his 92 doesnt have a stick, its not an sho so its the reg output v6.

  • @travisisredneck

Your a retard and your 92 gl is a peice of shit!

  • Great!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great!!!!!!!!!!

  • The Gen I are still the better car, just because Ford put a bigger engine doesn't mean it's better. Yamaha's 3.0 v6 was the best engine, when Ford took over and got help from Yamaha it started going downhill...

  • your just mad the g3 got a v8.

  • haha, yeah, a 3.4L v8. Tiny as hell and not even worth it. It sounds good, but other than that, it's a waste, unfortunately.

  • :) I love me some SHO so i'm impartial, I just like how V8 Sounds. :P

  • I'd put either of my gen I's against a gen III anyday. As I said earlier, a bigger engine doesn't make it better...

  • It's hardly even a bigger engine haha.

  • Yeah, i don't know about those Yamaha heads. I think those V8's have a lot of potential though.Of course, i'd put a supercharger or a 5.0 in if it could fit.

  • Hey mediarocker, thanks for correcting spelling, Now check your facts. ;) The Gen 1 had the 3.0L only. The Gen II had the 3.0L in the MTX and the 3.2L in the ATX. All Gen III's like the one in this video had the 3.4L V8.

  • My bad, I meant 3.4 I was thinking about the GII's thanks for the correction.

  • Ha, lol I do that shit all the time in my SHO on rainy days... When I'm facing up a hill, that is.

  • then you might want to change the air filter sometime. My vulcan does it on demand.

  • Yamaha did make the 3.4L v8 motor for this car, so it make sense, and earlier models of this car did run a v6.

  • Actually, the engine itself is a Ford monster, only the heads are truly Yamaha-made.

  • What is the redline on the v8s?

  • 6500 unless you chip it to shift @ 7000.

  • Nice, thanks.

  • nicee thats wat im talking about ford power baby chevy sucks!! :P

  • you mean yamaha power right? Either you are 15 and uneducated about cars or your from Alabama

  • and if you're from Alabama, then you're uneducated. Period.

  • yamaha power? I thought yamaha only had to do with the v6 shos. the newer sho's have the cop car 4.6 v8 engines

  • no.. i think that V6 have a durtech engine and i pretty sure SHO's only have V8's and (gl) have the V6 in them

  • or Vulcan

  • SHO's have the Yamaha 3.2

GL's and lower level sedans had the 3.0L Vulcan

Some Tauri ended up witht he 3.8 Essex

And Others Ended up with the Duratec (not duratech)

  • Gen1's have 3.0's.

  • Gen 1 and Gen 2 Both had 3.0's with the 5 speed. The gen 2's had a 3.2 only with the automatic. It had a little more torque but the same horsepower, just to offset the automatic's sluggishness a little.

  • I meant 3.4L for the GIII SHO

    the GII had a 3.2.

    My bad.

  • The 5 speed still had a 3.0 though.

  • w/e its made by ford so thats why i said ford power also if i where to say yamaha power it would not make sence because its a ford, and no im not from alabama and im not 15

  • You know, if someone wants to do something like this and post it for you to watch, why don't you just enjoy it? It's his car, so shut your mouth. Nice burnout brox. And that's from a GM fan.

  • Seconded...from a Mopar guy.

  • Seconded to sirbuick's comment, not somebeach911's.

  • the camshaft has already been welded and i've had a motor rebuild and a trans rebuild..... whats so wrong with havin a lil fun gettin rid of old tires..... i'd say your the douchebag

  • haha owned his ass

  • hey idiot-do your homework-they don't snap in half. The cam sprocket slides off the end of the cam. Shut your douche bag mouth.

  • @thefallguy1986 Because they're junk.

  • @USMARSHAL1000 Mine had 198,000 when I sold it and I still see it driving around town a year later...

  • Prematurely snapping in half? Is there a certain time when a camshaft should snap in half?

  • If your SHO did not have a Cam Weld then the Cams shims will come off and the cams will fuck the engine over. they dont "Snap in half"

  • verry fucking carefully

  • totally awesome burnout, but I'd never run my G3 SHO like that.... how do you keep the transmission/differential together?

  • copious amounts of tire smoke. Good luck keeping your car running, that can be a real challenge with a Gen III. Peace...

  • hahaha sweet
