The trend is always up because the money supply is always being expanded. I think the money balloon is about to pop. If and when Greece defaults on their debt the other countries in massive debt may also default. I am not sure what that will mean to the man on the street but we may find out sooner than later. They blame the oil in the gulf and its effects on the evaporation point of water in the gulf.
