  • do you think they will save the history of the country

  • Ok there's obviously no real studio audeince there. that audience noise when the kids run out is obviously canned.

  • @ACrackInTheWall2006 I've read somewhere that Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego had a small studio audience (probably 30-40 people at most). But my guess is that they didn't have a studio audience, unlike Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego, in which the studio audience was big (at least 150-200 people) and you saw them quite a bit in an average episode.

  • i always found the season 2 intros funny cos of kevin goofing off. i remember one episode where he brought pizza into his room.

  • Wow, I completely forgot that this show existed. I was a huge fan of Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego, I guess Where in Time just never caught on with me.

  • Apparently Carmen disliked this video

  • "Carmen Sandiego Sings the Phone Book"? HA HA HA HA!

  • Where did U get this Video?

  • @CaptainOvide It's in the description, dude.

  • i miss this show

  • can you upload me some episodes from season 2?

  • I'm sad that the host of this show passed away. :(

  • @AvocadoTomato I know. It is very sad that Lynne is no longer with us. But she technically wasn't the actual host, she was the announcer. Kevin was the host, and he's done a lot of work behind the scenes after this show. He was the creative director on Robot Chicken, winning an Emmy for that show. He's also the creator and writer/producer for Cartoon Network's MAD.

  • @RetroVideoFan Oops. That's who I meant. She was also on a show called the District, I think? My parents loved watching that show.

I didn't know Kevin worked on Robot Chicken and MAD. That's pretty cool!

  • @AvocadoTomato she was on the district, she even got a funeral for her character, I watched that portion of that particular episode with my mom, she recognized her from my carmen games and called me in, I was obsessed with carmen at the time

  • @AvocadoTomato She was only 54 when she died....

  • @pbscraze who was 54 years old?

  • @Eugealrules Lynne Thigpen. She was 54 when she passed away.

  • @Eugealrules Lynne Thigpen aw maann this sucks they said she was in health and now she's dead!

  • @pbscraze It's shameful, I think; she made a fine ACME chief.

  • @OneWeirdDude I'll say, She probably died of an aneurysm

  • @pbscraze @OneWeirdDude Actually, her health had been failing for the last few months. She passed of a cerebral hemorrhage, among other causes according to what I've read.

  • @RetroVideoFan I see that. Lynne was only 54 years old when she died in the Spring of 2003.

  • What did Sir Vile stole in this clip?

  • @ferdfd IIRC, it was Southern Slave Music, which was the basis for music like the Blues, Jazz, and Rock Music.

  • Back in the 90's, this blew our minds.

  • i remember watching this show whenever i could i just wish that some of the old shows would come back since now a days the new ones just down right suck

  • where in time is carman sandiego ran from 1996-1998

  • @Scottwilkie18 I know that. To be exact it ran from October 7, 1996 to October 2, 1998, although some PBS stations continued to reruns up until 2003.

  • This was one of my favorite shows as a child.

  • We only have 28 I think we could have saved time by not signing.

  • This intro is way better than the season one's intro.

  • yeah Especially when the chief says kevin KEVIN when he is fooling around in his room.

  • @crocodiletroy In every episode of Season 2, Kevin is doing something different each episode.

  • if anyone has episode 101 of Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego Season 2 that first aired on November 28 1997 that would be nice.

  • Wow, I didn't remember this at all. Is it possible my PBS didn't show these episodes?

  • No wonder the album didn't sell. WHY would someone want to listen to anyone sing the phone book? LOL

  • Carmen, it means he's describing himself. You know, cause he's servile. Get it? Servile, Sir Vile? Look it up.

  • Yes! Sir Vile!

  • Finally!!

  • I miss this show! It was great. I wish I could watch this again, re-living my memories.

  • @RetroVideoFan When You Get More WITICS Clips Would You Be 100% Sure That 1 Of Them Has The Parallel Universe Sketch?

  • can u ask oldschool4111 to upload the full episode?

  • Lynne Thigpen: Today's mission is fueled by THE CORPORATION FOR PUBLIC BROADCASTING, and VIEWERS LIKE YOU.

  • I don't know, but why don't you ask oldschool4111. He's the one who provided me with this clip.

  • Comment removed

  • @RetroVideoFan Could You Make One With The Parallel Universe Skecth?

  • @mommajudecj Unfortunately, this is the only clip I have.

  • Do you know what Sir Vile stolen from the Southern US in the 1700s?

  • @Sportsguy528 Jazz and Blues.
