There's no way to compare Kit Fisto and Grievous from the matchups we've seen in the movies, Kit just didn't stand a chance against Sidious. So I think this fight would be accurate.

When jedi fight (anytime not just with lightsabers) they use the force to find openings and sense danger. so:
1. General Grievous has a disadvantage, Kit always knows what attacks are actually dangerous and where to attack
2. Palpatine as a much more powerful sith lord disrupts a jedi's sense of the force, hence they have no idea where his blow are going to land and he can place them perfectly.
3. Windu was a master of a style that used the dark side, allowing him to see past the veil
a true master indeed, isn't he something? he's not one of the main characters, and a lot of people don't know all the members of the jedi council , but he's awesome , he's a jedi .
I like Kit Fisto He fights Grievous better then Obi does in the CG series. Usually Grievous wins the light saber battle and Obi wins by some sort of force power.

Like Kit Fisto and ultimately, Obi Wan Kenobi. The only non- Master Jedi to survive an encounter w/ Grievous was Padawan Ahsoka Tano. And she only survived because Anakin taught her how to fight Sith agents (aka. how to fight dirty)
Well Fisto is a jedi master and supposed to be one of the best swordsmen in the order (ignore the bullshit in ep3 where he instantly dies, that's Lucas being an idiot).

@Kayyyleb agreed, I think overall in Starwars lore Kit ranked somewhere in top 10 for lightsaber skills. He was at the time of his death the best Form I user (other than Yoda who is master of everything). Even the Skywalkers could not match Kit's Form I.
Shame that Greivous was so much more awsome in Clone Wars than he was in Episode III. Kit Fisto may have dies cheaply in the views of mnay, but he was fighting a robot with lightsabers here and a Sith Lord when he died. Those are very different things

My take on the Palpatine thing; yes surprise was in his favor accounting for the deaths of the first two masters in said fight, but he must also be legendarily powerful. He manages to stalemate Yoda as mentioned, and easily dispatches Kit Fisto after the confrontation had broke out, while simultaneously fending off Mace Windu.
Kit Fisto sounds like Hermes from Futurama, Lucas has never made it any more blatant that he's a racial stereotype, up there with Jar Jar Binks, The Toyderians, and the Trade Federation. People who don't see this must be blind.

@Phantomwolf10 I have a hard time believing that Kit's fighting style is so specialized that he can't handle just one opponent at a time. They just screwed up the choreography in the scene with Sideous because he was being played by an old man who couldn't fence.
I absolutely despise how three of the four greatest swordmasters of the Jedi Order died like little girls in less than five seconds against one old guy. Thanks a lot, Lucas.

Shame that Greivous was so much more awsome in Clone Wars than he was in Episode III. Kit Fisto may have dies cheaply in the views of mnay, but he was fighting a robot with lightsabers here and a Sith Lord when he died. Those are very different things

My take on the Palpatine thing; yes surprise was in his favor accounting for the deaths of the first two masters in said fight, but he must also be legendarily powerful. He manages to stalemate Yoda as mentioned, and easily dispatches Kit Fisto after the confrontation had broke out, while simultaneously fending off Mace Windu.

@Phantomwolf10 I have a hard time believing that Kit's fighting style is so specialized that he can't handle just one opponent at a time. They just screwed up the choreography in the scene with Sideous because he was being played by an old man who couldn't fence.
