Just got my Big Agnes Emerald Mountain SL2 Tent from HumbleOutdoors for just $234 with a free footprint. I have only set it up in the yard as yet, but this tent is crazy light. One week from now I will be doing the 100 mile wilderness portion of the AT in Maine, I'm ready!
took my macpac plateau up everest, came back a month ago. extreme winds on sth col; plateau didnt even budge; heavy snow loading on camp lll, held like a hut! get one! macpac are the greatest ever, really nothing compares!
Awesome tent, mine came in yesterday... love it! Plenty of head and footroom, easy setup, nice vent flaps on the rainfly. Being in Texas I'll probably sleep many sweltering nights without the fly, so the full net all the way around will be real nice... not to mention the views... I've got a Big Agnes bag and Love it... with the thermorest slipped into the back it sleeps very comfortably
Nice video pretty funny narration. Ive been using the BA Seedhouse 3 here in Alabama for a year now. Not had any problems did get cold on Mt. Cheaha @ 10-15 Degrees. Probably going to get the Marmot Alpinist 2 for winter. That is a nice bag I have a cold weather bag that is synthetic but have been using a Western Mountaineering 30 degree most of the year. Havn't had any problems yet with it being down and the humidity. Post a video if you travel to Mt. Cheaha or Sipsey would like to see those.
sweet new gear dude thats the bag that will expand with the extra zipper? I liked it but it still was not enought room. The montbel bags are pretty sweet the one that will stretch looked nice. I my self like the MH bags and the big agnus bags
it's a mountain hardwear lamina 45. it's been really good to me so far. it doesn't have the extra zipper, that would be really nice though. i need to get a winter bag for next season and i can't decide weather to get a colder rated MH bag or a Big Agnes. i borrowed a friends Big Agnes and i loved it.
the big Agnus bag has that nice sleeve for the pad which is totally key so it wont move around on you.. and the pack is the bomb wish I bought that one I have the new gregory z55 which is sweet but not like the one you got
Good stuff...enjoy!
