The sword sticks into the wooden plank, but bounces off the metal section? That's such a tiny detail! I can't believe the game checks for it.

Whoever made this really, REALLY cared about their work. Awesome game!

I've been playing this game a bunch lately, working towards getting the good ending. I finally figured out a consistent method for the canon ball.

I turn the audio off, and break up the timing into 3 beats. On "beat 1" is when the canon ball fires, and I count outloud until I have the timing even. Then I jump on the upbeat of beat 3, anticipating the canon ball, and I usually nail it. I've gotten it every single time in a row the last 7 times I've played the game, without failure (yet). :)
