What people dont realize is that MLB prohibits players from signing autographs or talking to fans during games. Yes there are players who are assholes but not all are, they just seem like it during games becasue that is what MLB tells them to do.
I have been to 6 yankee games, all at the old yankee stadium, and i am going to the new one on 9/11 when they play baltimore. the first time i went, i sat four rows behind the yankee dugout. i was lucky enough to catch a ball that jeter flipped into the stands after him and soriano warmed up. it was a great game but i was 8 and i really wanted to get some autos. NOT ONE PERSON SIGNED.
how come they never sign at spring training games in tampa. the only sigs i have gotten at spring training has been bobby murcer, andy phillips, delmon young and a couple other players. and i got CC Sabathia, Yogi Berra, and Mariano Rivera because my friends aunt works for the Yankees and he get's to be bat boy once a year.
go to cooperstown.....thats where the gold is .......all the hall of famers sign there .....i caught yogi walkin down the street and got him on a bat....and i got sandy koufax at the irish pub on a ball down there.

i went today and it was BS. only michael kay and tino martinez and rookies signed. Jeters a jerk and same with arod and tex. none of them signed
