  • sometimes with EDTVs, when you use 480p instead of 480i, the Wii Menu is fine, but once you load a game, the screen blacks out because the signal isn't interpreted correctly by the TV. in your case, it looks like one of your cable heads is dead... with component HD, you technically only need 2 of the heads plugged in to get a picture, and the third to complete the colors.

  • i have the same tv as u and the problem is the same with mine

  • Hey man change the 2 red cables around

  • That's why I got the Nintendo ones.

    Thought they're $35 >:|

  • this happened to me when I used my psp video cables, there are 2 red cables, try switching the 2 red ones around and it should work

  • I have the same problem, i tried to reconnect all cables but the problem still present.. Maybe a cable problem.. i'll call tomorrow for a change..

  • c'est nul

  • i figured it out!!! i just blew out the outputs in the back of my TV, the output on the back of the wii and then to cord input itself then put them in the output in this order. audio first, then red, then green, then blue in the video output, try it, it worked for me on my SANSUI 21" TV!!!, yeah resident evil 4 looks so amasing

  • @Riako

Your black, hes taking the piss by sayin chicken, well hes a stereotype mother dick.

  • Have you tried snudging the cable? Sometimes this happens to me, so tried to move it a little. If you still have this problem, replace the cables.

  • It would seem to me that you don't have an issue with your cable; rather, your TV's settings should be changed.
