  • No - this goes down the side toward town. The one you're thinking of is called Hairball (or Jabberwocky, which merges with Hairball half way down).

  • oh and i just road this trail twice today. it was my first time on the trail. its my new favorite

  • Oh, and if you like steep and gnarly, have you been down Hairball? It's my favorite out there.

  • were is hairball?! i havent even heard of that trail

  • From the fire circle on top of Brush Mtn, go east toward 460 on the fire road. It stays fairly level for about 1/4 mile. Right before it turns downhill, there's a grassy pull-off on the right. Directly across the road there's a small trail going into the woods. That's Hairball. Rooty and steep at the top, really fast at the bottom :)

  • Old Farm is the same thing as Gateway. And yeah, I saw all the riders at the top when I rode by yesterday morning. Looks like they had a great turnout!

  • sweet vid man...this is the only black diamond trail i havent riding at pandapus...so does this trail just come out at the lower parking lot. oh and today i went riding over there on jacobs ladder and there was a DH race on Gateway. VT, WV, and Duke were just some of the teams i saw. it was sick. go ride btw!!!

  • Haha - I'll bet you were the one that passed me on Jacob's. I was the one riding up it on a black Santa Cruz Blur LT - though I think you passed me too fast to notice ;)

  • was i wearing a black and white fox shirt and riding a white ironhorse
