I still remember the first time I experienced Metal Gear Solid. It was 1998, I tried out a demo for the original, I'm a little ashamed to admit that at first I didn't understand that I was supposed to sneak past the enemies and not engage them in combat. I kept trying to kill the enemies at the dock, needless to say I died a lot. But once I understood it, I loved it, and I have no regrets. So here's a toast to Hideo, Yoji, David, and everyone at Kojima Productions and Konami, Thanks you.

I love classic Rpg games like Diablo and Baldurs gate. I love the classic Nintendo Games like Star fox 64(Barrel roll). I love Chuck barry and Led Zepplin. I hate Music of the moderen ages. Raiden was not placed in Metal Gear because they needed a more 'handsome' character, he was placed because the 'Snake' & 'Solid Snake' franchise had been stretched to long the story good.

In fact, Snake was supposed to be removed after Metal Gear 2 Sons of Liberty, but made Metal Gear 3 Snake Eater just for the Snake fans. After a long good story about Solid Snake they made Metal Gear 4 Guns of the Patriots to make a perfect ending.

They didn't make MGS3 just for the Snake fans. In all the previous games, and MGS4, you play as Solid Snake. In MGS3, you play as Naked Snake, a different character all together. Snake Eater told an important part of the Metal Gear story. It tells how it all began, it really makes you understand everyone's actions in all the other games better.

Very good and Solid Snake was barely enhanced by nanomachines they only helped out in Number 4. If you Played the first one and listened to liquid at the end he ses that Snake got all of Big Bosses Fighting Genes. Which left Liquid with the crap genes.. So Solid snake just has to develop of off Big Bosses fighting Genes .. Personally i think Snake would have the advantage in a fight between Big Boss and Snake but Big Boss has his CQC which is Awesome..Ill Leave it to you to decide..

Actually, Liquid had received the recessive genes and Solid the dominant genes hence the reason why Big Boss and Solid look so alike. But Liquid's recessive genes were the soldier genes, so Liquid is genetically a better soldier. But Snake's cooler.

The thing that kept Snake together in 4 was not nanos, but his will power. The muscle suit did help with his accelorated aging affects, but mostly will power. Big Boss had technique, which he passed down to Snake. My Opinion, they both kick ass.

I don't know... Hideo Kojima has been doing this for decades, so I think he knows what he's doing. Yes, I'm sure we can all agree that Raiden isn't the legendary hero snake is, and he doesn't have to go through all the tough trials that make you feel sorry for snake, but come on. if Raiden is half the bad-ass ninja in Rising as he was in Guns Of The Patriots, you have to be at least a little curious as to how the game turns out. right?

lol probably not. they'll end up ruining it in 3 ways. 1. they'll make like $200 worth of downloadble content, 2. An online version that's 20 dollars a month to have about 6 soldiers trying to take down Raiden, and 3. The forementioned "number 2" will be unfortunately possible because Raiden is too powerful so they'll have to weaken him. and when that happens, it'll be like playing a mix between MGS2 and Assassin's Creed. both games were worth playing, but somehow I dont think they'd mix well.
