playing a lock for 5 years now. i am not the best pvp player out there but pretty much have a high survival time in both bg/arena.

hitting 80 and with wow's never ending lock nerfing, i suddenly lost all my faith in ever going back to my 70's "skills" ... this addon surely helped me out getting back on track. in otherwords, i know my char/rotation, but since this addon i am back in the top 5 deadly blow killers and farming hk's like a ...a ;..euhm... lock! cheers guys! keep up the good work

Im a destro-lock, not the greatest, but in the top 50 on my server.  I keep seeing locks post their rotation, but it seems no-one "qualifies" their rotation with any specifics about the fights. Believe me, the rotation for Patchwork in Naxx is different than the rotation for Northrend Beasts in ToC10 or 25. Immo, move to new position, then Conf works pretty well in fights where standing still is not an option. Your rotation also changes depending on how long each mob will live.

ok just a heads up but i can guarantee u that Conflag is not ready Immediately after u put up immolate. u have to incorporate another spell in b/w ie corruption or cb to fill in the void of a split second of no dmg being put on the target. that is why everyone puts immolate then cb, or sometimes i prefer immolate then corruption for the t9 bonus plus allows tank to generate threat a bit before i unload. *shrug.

*edit* : also i have run on everything b/w 65ms and 250ms and the delay b/w immolate and conflag is the same,..so its definately NOT a latency issue.

In my opinion my opening rotation is Immo->CB->conflag->incin then switch to Immo->conflag->CB->incin/life tap. If you time it just right (clip the last .5 sec of Immo) conflag will not lag

Sorry, Holybackhand, but it's the other way round.

Immo->CB->conflag ist actually better if you have a low ping and Immo->conflag->CB is better with a "crap" connection. Go check EJ on this.

Theres numerous replys on EJ about it, (Immo>CB>confalg>incin filler)

is way better than

(Immo>conflag>cb>incin filler)

due to the "lag"between immolate being applied and actually allowing you to conflag, if you wait to cast conflag you could be halfway(even more) through the CB and conflag right at the end of the cast, its common knowledge tbh, stand there doing nothing for a second or cast another spell straight away

There is a small lag between your immolate cast and your client registering the immolate debuff, allowing you to conflag. Thats the reason why Immo->CB->Conflag is better. And this is ALSO mentioned on EJ.

Terrible spell priority.

This addon is merely good enough for using this on normal mobs. But then why would you need an addon for merely 3 simple spells?

The correct spell priority for e.g. raids:

Lifetap (with glyph).

Curse of Doom.

Immolate.

Chaos Bolt.

Conflagrate.

Use Incinerate and an ocasional Lifetap as filler.

Do u hate warlocks? I mean, i gave too much life to L2P as a destro lock, i was naturally not doing good against locks with better gear, and i was doing better than locks with equal or worst gear, now all locks can be 1 and we will have to compete more.

Still, after immolate better be CB and not conflagrate, if u use conflagrate u will have to w8 for GCD before CB, if u use CB first, then no GCD for conflagrate, plus u get 3 hasted incinerates which they r innitialy longer to cast than CB..

My warlock is an alt. I get to 80 3 weeks ago and I hate it to not be in to dps on raid. Also, having many, many addons to watch while playing is not fun for me.

So I wrote an addon to help me play and also have time to look to the boss art and raid environment. If you don't like it, don't uset it.
