  • such beautiful music!!!

  • I think she should have started with a hot cup of coffee! Beautiful heat sensing photography.

  • Bees actually have common sense unlike Wasps. You be nice to Bees they be nice to you. You mess with Bees they mess with you. But Wasps are just flat out dicks lol

  • @xBanny9x Wasps: Start running towards a lake, it´s like a magic barrier against them

  • kind of cute... until the little fucker stings you...

  • compared to other Insects and arthopods, Bees are the most pleasant looking ones

  • Bumble bees are f**king awesome.

  • gREAT! Check my vid from Czech republic BUMBLE BEES:-)

  • The look fluffy but when they fly at you, they give you the creeps

  • bumble bees are kinda cute

  • I like bumblebees they're gentle and quiet.

  • These bees are the best of all of em. They are hard workers, they rarely bother humans and only are hostile if you constantly bother them. Before you hate on these creatures, just know that these are the ONLY animals to actually create a food for humans.

  • @metalrave, there are more animals that create food for us. Trust me.

  • @spektre0 You need to understand what I mean by "create". If your thinking of animals like cows that produce milk or plants that produce fruit, thats not what I mean. Bees actually "create" honey. They collect pollen and with their hard work they make that into honey

  • I remember the scariest day of my life, it was a hot summers day at school and we were doing PE on the playground field. We were sitting cross legged on the grass when a whopping big fluffy queen bee landed right on my arm.

Then I shouted "Buuuumble bee" as my voice was quivering. It was slowly crawling up my arm. Got to my shoulder then my friend knocked it off with a stick. I've got a fear of bumble bees, the big fuzzy british ones you get in your garden. Not the slimmer ones or wasps.

  • I love them so much. I love watching them collect pollen from lavender.

  • bumblebees are quite docile bothering no-one.

  • That was interesting....I love Bumble Bees, Thier huge...i see them all the time around here.... i just wanna catch one ...and pet it.....Lol....i heard u can...an they wont even fly away ,but i also heard they can sting...so maybe not

  • I call them, Fuzzy bees. :l

  • Bumblybee!

  • i pick them up all the time they crawl onto my hand then when i put them back on the flower they fly of

  • clever girl!

  • bumble bees have a clutch! :D

  • How big is the Queen Bumble bee, compared to the other hive members?

  • @federalwarhawk pretty big - at least half again, if not actually double the size.

  • @federalwarhawk I've been trying to find the answer to that as well. I want to make a screen that will keep the queen inside my green house while allowing the other bees to leave. There is not alot of good info online about bumble bees.

  • @Subvert1024 Reason I have been looking for this info, was many years ago, when I was walking thru my clover field, on almost all the flowers were these huge Bumblebees, at least 3 times larger than any one I have seen before,I don't know if these were all Queens, a separate species, or just a hive of common Bumble bees that were abnormally large for some reason,

  • bees only sting in defense, but some are psycho

  • 0:40 Paranormal Activity mode.

  • This clip is actully taken from the life series on insects, not the life in the undergrowth series.

  • They are so soft........... and furry !

  • I love bumble bees, they're so cute and make me cry. ; u ;

My friend and I tried to save one once, it was in the rain and we tried to keep it dry. It passed away in the night though. D:

  • So they basically switch into neutral, rev their engine up for a little while, then put it in gear and fly off? Bees are facking awesome.

  • hit em with low flight of the bumblebee lol xD

  • I want infrared sight upgrades.

  • This sucks. I'm scared of bees, but they do fascinate me, and bumblebees seem friendly. I'd let one crawl on my hand if I weren't so scared I'd get stabbed by a tiny barb.

  • bzzzzzz! They so fuzzy! ^^

  • HOW DID I GET HERE FROM DANCE DANCE REVALUATION

  • 4 people got stung....

  • @TylerT718 i do hope it did hurt a lot!

  • Omg that is one of the most beautiful things i ever watched, they should definitly do more stuff like on this kind of stuff :D! The queen bee accaully helped warm the flowers up in the cold :3 awe!

  • nice - thanks BBC & Attenborough and Bees -

i have movies on bees & pollination on m channel -

bumblebees pollinate willows- since they can get an early start on the year via this warming up - see 'Willow Pollination' on you tube

  • This is probably one of the most beautiful videos I have seen on youtube.

  • i wanna go 2 england now D:

  • @peanutkirby dont its horrible, go to Hawaii

  • insects freak me out but bumble bees never have i dont think ive ever been stung by one.

  • Just don't grind the gears!

  • got stung by a bee ounce....

    but it didn't hurt much.....

  • I stepped on a bee once and I think it stung my shoe, but I wasn't sure because I didn't ask. I wonder if bees make biscuits to go with their honey.

  • What happened to the bumble bee? They are becoming extinct and no body cares!!!

  • @NinkaPanda im sure theres still millions of them in denmark alone in the summer

  • bumble bes are also not very social creatures the only reason that that bee didnt sting your mom was because it didnt have backup bumble bee support or somthing like that also bumbler bees willingly go on your hand if offered if they cant flyalso bees can sting more than once like a wasp i hope that clears up some questions in your mind so see ya...!

  • @DEMONICHERMITCRAB

"flyalso bees can sting more than once like a wasp"

    No they cant.

  • I catch bees in the summer and they dont sting

  • This guy's voice makes me want to go to sleep...

  • I like the part with the bee.

  • @ferrellw what kind of remark is that?

  • I'm happy to see that so many other people love bumblebees. As a general rule, I don't like anything that flies and can sting, but bumblebees are the exception. I think they're adorable.

  • Did you know Bumblebees can see ultraviolet....now you know

  • 1:30 as an engineer i want to say "that fatty body will never fly with that small wings"...But it flyes... Awesome Nature

  • I can relate to this insect. I'll pick a frigid climate over a tropical one just to get away from the population and traffic.

  • I wonder if this is the same technique Japanese honeybees use to roast hornet intruders.

  • Wait.. they can sting? I used to take them in my hands and everything.

  • @ivanlagrossemoule

yea they're not so aggressive. I use to pet them too when I was little. bumblebees are cool. Yellowjackets are assholes.

  • @lordblazer If disturbed, however, they can be quite fearsome. I kicked a hive once (not knowing it was a hive - a hissing grass-pile made me curious when I was a kid) and I got mobbed by them. Ouch.

  • @lordblazer No shit, i was laughing so hard at that comment xD

  • @lordblazer Yea, the ones around my old house built nest around the wood on my house, and evertime id walk outside they floated around my head a few times and went on thier buisness. kind of cute acctually. :D

  • bumblebees don't sting you do they? I remember killing bunch of bumblebees just because they looked scary...

  • I love bumblebees, they're so fat and cute

  • bumblebees dont sting, they use the spikes on their legs to scratch your skin and makes it feel like u got stung

  • Graceful Lift Off... True Queen! Haha

  • It's like the heat up the flowers too. So cool.

  • there like tiny flying teddy bears ... the only insect that doesn't make me go '' D: /cringe ''

  • they're like the chubby fat kid of bees ^^

  • one time i saw his huge bumble bee it was the size of an offical nfl foot ball im not kidding it buzzed around my hous 2 times its face was huge

  • @JazzyJeff233 I saw a mosquito the size of a tennis ball

    i believe you

  • I Love Bumbleebees! Its sad becuz my mom places her garden next to the pool, and u always see them struggling, I probably save 5 bees per day. There so cute, u put them on a leaf, pat their back once, put them in the warm spot on a bush, and off they go!

  • Beautiful

  • I LOVE BUMBLES.. They are perhaps, the cutest insect ever

  • i would cry if i ever squashed a bee :'(

whenever i see one crawling on the concrete sidewalk struggling on a cold october morning, i grab a leaf/branch and give it a pat and carry it off to a bush with sunshine spot, then 5 minutes later it takes off!

    it moves me!

  • why dont thay cut down on the huny lol

  • I'm scared of bees, wasps and all things that sting, I avoid them in life as much as I can, but with David Attenborough narrating even I was like 'go bumble bee go!' when it was trying to take off.

  • i love how magical it is when the bee flys away.

  • arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr i love bees there little fluffy things i have loads in my garden and they do not bother me at all they are very pleasant buzzys .

  • thats a queen? shouldnt she have a... hive?

  • every single type of bee that has a stinger i am afraid of because it might sting you.

  • @yac123 Well, maybe every single type of female bee (males don't have stingers - a stinger is a modification of an ovipositor) that you know of :-) stingless bees (Meliponini) have either no sting or one so reduced that it's useless.

  • @yac123 Except the Africanised Killer bee, Most bees are pretty harmless unless you hurt the bee.

  • fairies!!

  • it is so cute when the queen bee takes off!

  • I love bumblebees. Sadly their species are in serious trouble in the UK. They do die if they sting you but they're not best known for aggression, my mother use to always very gently stroke their backs in her garden and they never hurt her. I'm not so brave.

  • @rmephh I thought bumblebees don't have stingers or something?? That's sad... they're the only kind of bees I like lol

  • @rmephh really ? Wow!!

  • @rmephh

Sorry to trouble you with good news, but bumble bees DO NOT die when they sting, since their stingers lack the barbs of other bee species.

Try doing a Wikipedia search before commenting, so you don't contribute to mis-information, and don't make yourself look like a fool :]

  • No, they do NOT die if they sting. They lack barbs on their stingers, so they can sting more than once.

  • @rmephh From what I know, Bumble bees dont die when they sting you, but bees do. Bumble bees dont have hooks and can sting multiple times, but as you said they are very friendly and only sting if threatened :) (probably the cutest insect i would say)

  • @rmephh Bublebees can sting even though they rarely do. But they can sting as many times as hey want. It's the honeybee that dies when it stings

  • @rmephh I haven't seen a bumble bee in California in ~a decade. I used to see them all the time as a kid.

  • @rmephh i love bumblebees, i used to do that as a child my mother used to scream for my safety she's scared of insect's, and bees. i was asmatic as a child, but i never got stung, they used to gently vibrate in my hand, and they felt warm. i wouldn't risk it now, but i still love watching them the same.

  • @rmephh no, they don't die after they sting. they don't have barbed stingers. honey bees have barbed stingers, so they die, but not the bumble bee.

  • @tonecameg no...bumble bees do to. Trust me, i'd know, got stung in my ear when i was 6, wouldnt forget it tugging on my ear trying to fly off...

  • @rmephh They don't die if they sting, they have no barbs on their sting.

  • @rmephh - FYI, only honeybees die when they sting, because both the stinger and some of the internal organs to which it is attached, are separated from their bodies when stinging. Bumblebees, on the other hand, do not lose their stingers, and can sting repeatedly without dying.

  • @geomonicdotorg And Honeybee stingers are barbed, so even if the stinger was attached to their body they couldn't sting more than once anyway.

  • simply amazing

  • Bumblebees are so cute!!!

  • @earthalien77 they are

  • Bees are warm?! No shit!

  • I love bumblebees, they're cute - as are their names.

  • how do you know its a queen?

  • she hasn't got shit all over her

  • @scootscr15 monty ; )

  • @zomgbbqwth The size of the bee and the time that they appear

  • Do they sting? If so I suppose they would die.

  • yes they do and it sucks fucking ass!!!

  • Yeah, they can sting and they won't die. They can keep on stinging repeatedly, unlike honeybees.

  • Cool, I didn't know they could disengage their wings. They can

vVoom Vroom like a motorcycle. :D

  • i once had a bumble bee friend :)

i was at my cousins birthday party and i was soooo bored. then a bee landed on my finger and i was like "oh haii"

then for like 2 hours i just carried out round from bush to bush.

it was so awesome that when it finished with one flower it would buzz back to my hand and willingly be carried over to another one.

  • wow nice... :)

  • That's amazing, that bee must be missing you alot, and beeing able to see it do what itdoes in it's life as well.

  • @iamabsFTW - Teaching the bee how to bee Lazy huh. " I'll just win the trust of this human and let it take me to the flower patches. I mean we are just cute and fuzzy bees ......right ?"

  • @iamabsFTW

That is the single most awesome story I have heard this week.

  • @iamabsFTW

All i can say is, Cool Story Bro

  • @iamabsFTW

    Whaw, thats fantastic! :D

    I <3 bumble bee friends :D

  • @iamabsFTW maybe it was lazy, lol, still cool tho, im to affraid of any bee/wasp tho so i stay my distance, and run if i even see a bee

  • @iamabsFTW COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @iamabsFTW hahaahaha, no fucking kidding?

  • @iamabsFTW I would have freaked out when it landed on me. Though that's cool, I think my phobia would have taken over at the start.

  • @iamabsFTW lazybee ftw :P

  • Reminds me of the fairies from Fantasia.

  • a'enbra

  • that doesint look harmfull :D

  • I remember when i was 10 in primary school when we were playing pe on the playground field i was sitting cross legged on the floor listening to the teacher with everyone else. When a huge massive queen bee landed on my legs i was soo shaken having never been stung by a bee im petrified of them and its actually a phobia anyway the bee was slowly crawling up my leg then up my arm and was heading for my shoulder he was so close to my neck when a friend of mine got a twig and flicked it off! :S

  • The ending to that story is rather anti-climactic and, dare I say, poorly written.

  • @Scullnblades I Swear I have a phobia of them also, its the buzzing noise it freaks me out alot, when i hear it near me I run like hell lol.

  • A bee landed on my lips I crapped myself

  • did u get a lip job? XD

  • a wasp landed on my lips once i crapped myself

  • damn... thank god u didnt open ur mouth then...

  • Lesal08: bumble bees don't make honey... honey bees do.

  • they do make honey but because their hives are small and so they make small amounts of honey that are of no value for human predators

  • All Bees make honey, just not as much as honey bees

  • no not all bees, honey is only made by the Aphis and the Bumbus species.

  • He sounds like Winnie the Pooh, and he probably wants their honey lol.

  • lol winnie the pooh has a shirt on but no pants

  • I was lying down on the floor playing games when I was 7 or 8 and I looked down and a Bumblebee was crawling on my hand. I swear I pooped myself.

  • Why would this be fake you fucktard?

  • what is this music? It's beautiful

  • How do you spell the flower's name alphabetically?

  • daffodil

  • Narcissus poetica :))))

  • i have bumble bees living /drillin holes on my wooded porch.......g

  • i had that same problem, till i ripped out the porch and replaced it (termites and bumble bees) but now I see very few termines and bbs. The bb's I do see i swat with a fly swatter they are so annoying.

  • those are carpenter bees. they can be more destructive to wood than termites...I'd get it checked out if you can. good luck. :)

  • @jkjkhardcore666 Do not kill the bees. They are endangered and their populations are dwindling, and we depend upon them to keep our vegetables and other such foods pollinated so they can grow. Without that we're gonna have a LOT of problems!!! lol

  • bees scare the shit out of me theyre so big they like tony arnold and dotn gimmie shit about ooh theyre lovable and sweet and gentle, theyre also dickheads if u bump into one by accident just walk into they go scitzo, and u have to run coz they get angry enough to fly ike hellish speed at u, one landed on ym head and went under my hair before and i touched it by accident and all i heard was ZZZ ZZZZ ZZZZTHFTGZZZZ!!!! and i fukin ran for it!

  • i understand how you feel. they scare me too. i have a bee phobia. to bumblebees. they chased me alot today too. as scary as they are they are an important part of polunating beauituful looking and smelling flowers and food. they are a helpul but scary part of are ecosystem. i understand how you feel

  • lol its true, they buzz fken loud.

    And your right, you run.

Especialy tearing up a nest in the ground.

  • theres nests in the gorund, shit, never knew that, now im even more paranoid,

the other week i was walking home fro college by myself and a massive hul hogan bee flew out of the bushes on the wall i was walking next to i jamp and ran into the road, then i was looking around to see if anyone was looking haha

  • cut your hair

  • bumblebees are beautiful

  • i hate those bees cause they always seem 2 chase me. but the thermal imaging on the daffodills is beautiful

  • Bumble bees never chase nor disturb people in any way. They are gentle lovely/lovable creatures. You can even touch the back of them without causing them to scramble away.

  • true, they are cute

  • maybe but they are very tough and scary. i have a bee phobia

  • not true

  • LMAO touch the back of them and get stung! LMao

Touch their butts its fun .>.>

They don't really attack people though even though I lived right on the next they never stung me once except when I was a kid and tried to pet one.... Yeah i got stung and yeah it hurt. I got revenge by tossing them in a spiders web whenever i Caught one muahaha

  • amazing....
