"Represented"? Having a manager and/or an agent doesn't get you a career. Yes, I've had leading parts in films and done TV and commercial and voice work... But that isn't the point. I was trying to give you some helpful advice because I've been doing this for way too long. You can take it or leave it bro...
When Eddie Chapman was imprisoned in Jersey, he was in the same cell as my dad whom the Germans had arrested for "distributing enemy propaganda" (he used to collect and distribute RAF leaflets across the island). I was born in a Nazi camp...
Dude, you can't put your background work on your demo reel. I know it's rough out here but really... It just looks silly. Trust me. My reel would be an ten hours long if I did that; but eight hours of that footage would be me not talking. Silly right?
8 hours of bg wow...I bet... I have talking mixed with some great bg work...somethings better then nothing I have much new things I've done..nothing wrong with not speaking..promo videos and commercials have many non speakers.the reel is to show what i've done and how I look and act on tv and film, I also have speaking mixed into the bg stuff..so relax....you can see more great stuff on my facebook..Lets see your reel dude..better yet are you even represented..I am...
i recommend some of those who have commented on Yuls personal life read the biography that was writtein by his son Rock -it explains quite a lot about his behaviour and how in the end his son was able to frogive him . No-one is perfect .
How can you say someone is bad because of who they choose to give their money to? That's absurd. It's HIS MONEY. He can do wtf he wants with it. If a woman brought me happiness, great sex and a killer body to look at daily, I'd pay the crap out of her too. I can't take it with me so who cares... It's money. He was a great actor but I don't always see the King of Siam. I see the gunslinger from Westworld. I will always see him as that. AWESOME. Holy crap Christopher Plummer is YOUNG in this!!
You are right Carmenaudrey, the other actor is Christopher Plummer, and he was Capitain Von Trap in The Sound of Music.
Triple Cross is a very difficult movie to get in DVD in America, and the one you get, it's going to be cutted al least 30 minutes, I don't know why, so if you are interested in buy it, check it out that the lengh is arround 160 minutes, because is a interesting movie, because is a true life history.
I'm not saying it's good or bad or that it's incorrect - but for being an accomplished actor, thespian, singer, artist, photographer, author, a self made millionaire, a diplomat, a UN special consultant of refugees etc (you should know this if you read the book) that doesn't sound like someone who lacks will.
like I said I did read it, but how can we as "spectators" (no matter how many books we read)say his will sucked, he did many shows will in great pain before he died. Sounds like a strong will power to me. I saw him just before he died performing the King and I when I was about 5 years old. All I'm saying is that if your a "fan" just remember the saying everything has two sides we have no idea why his relationship with his family was the way it was and we never will.

did u guys know that yul brynner did not give a single cent to any of his kids in his will? he gave it all two his young dancer wife. very dissappointing especially since his daughters were still very young at the time of his death.
When a father does not recognize their children dispite the family issues is a very selfish self-centered thing to do.Furthermore, disinheriting children such as this leaves an emotional scar that doesn't go away. WTH was he thinking? He gave life to his children. Then we are supposed to listen to what he has to say about smoking. From a selfish man.
Maybe you are right, but don´t you think that is better for all of us to judge just his work and not his personal life, I knew him very well and I can tell that he was not a bad person, he had his personal reasons to do what he done, as Afroaztlan says "everything has two sides, and you'll never know how his relationship with his family was"
Keep loving him and enjoy his work, or forget him forever.
are u talking to me. coz i think i have stated the reasons quite clearly. i adore yul brynner and i think his will sucked. there is no denying that. also i read that in a biography written by rock brynner who also loved his father very much and wrote many positive things about him, u should try reading it

I am reading a biography on Eddie Chapman called "Agent Zigzag." I highly recommend it to anyone interested in WWII espionage, which was, as it turns out, very one sided in the Allies favor.
Would you have rather have had it in the Axis favor??? Would you like to read history as written by Hitler???Or how about Stalin. Or how about Usama Bin Laden. THey're people pledged to destroy us. I Will fight them. If it is a choice between my family or them, guess who loses. Drink your Martinis and laugh at me. You are no more safe than I am. Maybe I am safer. I am prepared. =Stefan=
Gr8st, I am not touchy at all. I have been in combat, have you? You look at things alot different when you have been fired apon. You read history rather differently. =Stefan=
Yes I have. I have also heard of being a bombast. Guess where you fall in!!!Just because you don't have the guts to defend what you believe in, doesen't give you the right to insult me. I will still defend you today! =Stefan=
Just today finished Agent ZigZag book,so this is interesting to me.Got to watch the film now, even though its meant to be not very accurate,so ive heard.
If you are interested in this film, try to get the version that longs 1:60 min., there are three, one last only 1:30 and the other 1:20. I wish you luck to get the full version, it is not easy, but maybe you can get it. See you arround.
Yesterday, I watched this film for the first time. Really good film! Specially Yul Brynner was very good in this film ^^
