@superdoobo Obama never took Economic classes because he was too busy studying bureaucratic theories. I majored in political science and economics and let me tell you, they are two different worlds. Political science teaches theories about creating false utopias while economics explains how those feeble attempts fuck us all. Even the most left wing economic professors seem like free market radicals compared to public policy professors.
I think Socrates may have had a little more than an A in Econ 101 in mind as his benchmark for what qualifies as wise. Surely even he would agree that there must be a limit to how stupid a 'King' can be. In any case 'the King' surrounded himself with Bush and his cronies, Socrates would have been speechless
@maddi62 That's not a fair standard. I have a PhD in economics but only got a B in my introductory econ class because it was my first semester and I liked to drink.
He actually had better grades than John Kerry. Making fun of Bush is old and worn out. Only stupid people laugh at them these days, people who want to feel good about themseleves by thinking they are smarter than the president. Your joke wasn't even that witty. Go back to commenting on "soldier boy" videos. That is what you're probebly best at.
Wow... this is partially a quote from Christopher Hitchens... Not worth stealing it either... Go back back to insulting people for insulting people... moron.
@ahhhitsjay I do not regret about what I said. I still think Bush was one of the intelectually poorest presidents you had, and I'm quite proud to be from the continent who gave birth to the western civilization and with the greatest human development. Our situation is not good, but every projects have their hard times. Yet, I do not envy America at all ;)
I am a rich American and I vote for Bush due to the fact that he does what I say after I give him campaign funds and invest in his good ol boys interests. It's a win-win for all of us here at the top 5%. I can't wait until I die so I can use this death tax to provide more money to my already fat and selfish chilren.
He prepared well for presidency didn't he? Bush thought it was funny that he a person like him with a "C" average could be a president. Spent most of his life being a barfly. Ran his own oil company into the ground. Now he has run the whole country into the ground.
He thinks giving rich people huge tax breaks makes him a good president apparently. So what that the value of the American dollar is 6/10 of what it used to be worth.
Actually the real number is around 38% and it's not "taxes" but "income taxes." Regardless All W2 earners pays medicare and social security taxes. Everyone including illegals pay sales taxes. Everyone buying gas pays Federal and State taxes. You can have Tax Cuts OR More Wars in More places BUT NOT BOTH!! Republicans want both and trick many idiots with deficit spending (while putting a tax on your future, inflation, & dollar devalution now).
He must have copied off of Bush lol. Just income taxes do not account for the entirety of government spending (notice we have a deficit, guess who pays for that). Also just because a person isn't directly taxed doesn't mean they aren't paying taxes. Depending on the elasticity of demand the consumer can be paying the entirety of the tax (say gas tax goes up .25 dollars per gallon the price is likely to go up .25 dollars per gallon because the demand is very inelastic). Derp!
@ct91rs I'd like to see them raise taxes on capital gains and dividends which is where many of the most wealthy Americans make most of there money, we can call it a flat tax hike for everyone just like Bush claimed a flat income tax drop was equal for everyone! hahah
@ladebbie Tax cuts have nothing to do with the destruction of the dollar. The destruction of the dollar is purely a result of the Federal Reserve creating money out of thin air and adding it to the balance sheets of the banks. The Fed prints the difference between government spending and government revenue, but blaming tax cuts for the collapse of the dollar shows how little you know about economics. The tax cuts helped prop up a phony economy based on central economic planning
Only a retard would elect as president a man who openly confesses being economic illiterate. However, only an American would re-elect him.

The only grades he ever got were W's and D's, which is probably how he got the nickname "W."

right... and the tooth fairy is real.
Do you honestly believe that the middle class doesn't know how much they've been taxed under Bush?
All of this chatter about how McCain will "lower taxes" is the same old lie that his party has been telling for 112 years...

How about the Estate Tax Cut (labeled the 'Death Tax' by Republicans, after all, who can be for a 'Death Tax'?)
The bottom 80% of society will see 6% of the benefit of that cut this year, while the top 5% of society will receive 87% of the benefit.
Now that's helping Americans.
