  • Shadoe,

Your voice was amazing then, and still is. It always put a smile on my face when I watched this after middle school. It is nice to see you are still active in show business as now is your daughter. Wishing you the best.

  • John Davidson's hair is almost frightening. That carefully crafted patch of gray is disturbing. I thought he was sporting a wig, when I was kid. I wonder if Peter Allen knew he was HIV positive at this point

  • I have no idea what you're talking about but thanks for the note.

  • hey Shadoe, you have brother right howard stern

  • Do you happen to have the clips of the next week in New York?

Ps, you are my favorite game show announcer of all time. No joke, you should have been hired to do The Price Is Right.

  • Thank you so much. It was great fun with incredible people. Pretty hard to go wrong.

  • How cool was it having Jerry Carroll, the Crazy Eddie guy himself, do a clue?

  • As a fan of the 1998-2004 incarnation of HS, how was it working with Tom Bergeron? And let me say, it was great seeing you back behind the mic during Game Show Week 2 in '03

  • $154,000? On Hollywood Squares, you got to be kidding.

  • I just wanted to drop a line and thank you very much for posting these great quality clips from the show. I watched this show as a young child and loved this show so much. Thank you once again!

  • November 13th 1987? That was my 3rd birthday and yet I remember this exact episode. Freaky, no?

  • During the 2000-2001 Hollywood Squares returns to New York with Tom Bergeron as host and Whoopi Goldberg as the "center square".

  • and also, the main theme song lyrics on that version were modified to saying "Hollywood in New York," replacing the regular main lyrics "I Love Hollywood".

  • And during that week, the all-time grand champion of HS was crowned with over $154,000 in cash and prizes.

  • I thought he was very good...I liked him a lot...but you asked who I thought was the best...and John had a terrific warmth and humor I liked.

  • You are only saying that because you worked with him. (On the other hand, you worked with Tom too.) Did you ever see a Marshall episode?

  • Bias aside, who do you think was the best hos of Hollywood Squares?

  • I think John Davidson was terrific.

  • I meant what was your opinion on Peter Marshall

  • It was sensational. He's a great guy. I thought he was charismatic. Thanks

  • How was it working with John Davidson? and how do you thini\k he did with $100,000 Pyramid in 1991.

  • And of course, my favorite part of the intro: "And here's your host: JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHN DAVIDSON!!!"

  • Ohhhhh, thank you, shadoestevens, the man, the voice, for these wonderful clips. I just wish I would have been old enough to remember these shows when they were on because I was only born in '85. At least now I can hear you from the top of "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson". I attended a taping in April 2007 of that show. At the time I didn't realize that voice was yours. I knew I had heard it somewhere before.

  • Great, wasn't it?

  • LOL at Crazy Eddie's special appearance in that last question!

  • You want to see something real funny? Check out Dan Aykroyd as Crazy Eddie (or Crazy Frank) on a Ruth Gordon Episode of Saturday Night Live from 1977!

  • Shadoe at his perfect station in life... Cheerful, vibrant & warming all those within earshot.

  • Thanks for the nice words and high I.Q.

  • Is that really you, Shadoe?

  • there can be no other....only anti-Shadoes who cannot be trusted...if someone tells you he's me, turn and run
