@plazmatyk Putting mud on isn't a good idea, but in this case it seems to be overkill. You'll be warm in no time! If you're in the black of the fire, you should be fine. And the fact that this is in Alabama means this isn't very serious. The smoke is the worst part, so covering your mouth and areas of exposed skin would be smart. He's right about wearing cotton as well. Take this from a firefighter.
