I wonder why this is put online, I eat nsima in Malawi and in SA, also I make it back in europe. I don't put video's online of africans eating european food
@helgatridr Americans and, to a lesser extent, Europeans, tend to be a bit snobbish about food, or challenged by unfamiliar things. European dining has spread much farther abroad than has African. At best, even in a city the size of Seattle, you will find some Ethiopian restraunts. It can be amusing to watch an American trying to eat injerra the first time. Nsima, ugali, fu-fu or whatever are a step beyond. You should have seen me the first time I ate Japanese food with chop sticks.
hmm....so instead of boilin' the maize kernels in lime, to peel the grain skin, i would grind the corn, cook it with hot boilin' water and presto, we have kawunga;....our tlaxcalas(tortillas)we eat with our hands and with beans or meat, maybe some cooked prickly pear as you all eat kawunga with your hands and your stew or greens,....AWESOME!!! Greetings to ya from mexico! = )
