@tomaf My dear, "The big black square thing all the people gather around" is known as the Kabah. It is the House of Allah on Earth, it was first built by the first man Adam(as). Then rebuilt by Ibraheem and son Esmael peace. By time Muhammad peace buh, came the Kabah was filled with 360 idols which the Prophet of Islam while discarding them say "Truth has come, false hood must perish". While performing Hajj believers (Muslims) must circle it 7 times. It's in the East direction turn to pray

In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful and Compassionate

Muslims revere the Ka`bah because God tells us of its special status in the Qur'an (His words given to Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)).

The Ka`bah was the first house of worship set up on this earth, dedicated to the worship of the One True God. If Allah has told Muslim's to set the Ka'bah as the point of worship then so be it.

Christians do not worship icons and images, they worship what they represent, exactly like Ka'ba! Sorry for the question, I am not muslim, christian or jewish, and I prefer to stay agnostic, but I do not understand some religious debates like this. Please explain. Thanks

i think the picures is well presented this a rare oppurtunity for us Muslims to see the pictures in the Past... However , the background music does not fit with the pictures presentaion, the pictures do not deserve the MUSIC since MUSIC in ISLAM is prohibited...
