If you see a man in a mask...Tis I ...Love Di." <3 'may you revel in the thighs of many beautiful women or men.'
Holy shit, to practice for debate to get our writing speed up, we had to listen to this song and write down all the drinks he said. Nobody could do it. Legit song tho
I see the Jolly Rogers every year at the festival. I have their cd, X Marks The Spot (just amazing) and just this year, I bought their first dvd. You should get it. In addition to the live show, there are 2 shows taped at the festival.
@PuddingnShortbuses It is on their cd, X Marks The Spot. It's from a few years ago, so I haven't been able to find it online. They have it at their festival shows, though.
Your song starting at 2:00 is the same tune as the Clancy Brothers/Tommy Makem children's medley "Penny to Bury the Wren." You should sing for Sponge Bob. :)
When I first heard these guys, I just started laughing, I thought they were so funny. And sadly I think I hear one of my friends in the backround yelling FASTER!
i can't believe i have to wait till next year to see them again v_v well there are a lot of rumors going around about KCRF, one of them being that they're striving to be a year-round venue. let's hope that one's true. that is, if it's not too much for the maestro and performers to handle.
I was a KCRF performer this year. I didn't hear a rumor like that. And trust me, even if it was true, I truly doubt we could keep it up as a year round venue. Jake and Maestro would probably tear out what's left of their hair. Maestro told us that we had to bring in 100,000 that year or we might have some serious financial trouble.
yeah. i already heard those rumors crushed a long time ago. but still... yeah i wish there was more for us rennies to do outside of the kcrf season. the next nearest faire is the omaha fest (as far as i know) but it only goes on for one weekend and i hear it's not that great.

One day, I'm going to drink all the alcohol in this song. And then, I'll have one for the road.

I LOVE this! Great idea but
- I tried. You have to take them in shots, or you'll never make it. And even then... well... I won't tell you about the next day.

My friends oddly break into this song and a few other JR songs while driving. Scared the crap out of me the first time they all did it.
But they said with a sly grin, "You will learn."
...and so I did.
